@junglefunk_@asher_tran Oh, that's great. If you're in Thailand, you should be deep in it right now. I've a friend in Penang who says the prices are really low there this year, thanks to a bumper crop.
@junglefunk_@asher_tran What's yer selection technique? I like to look for a full (not withered) stem, still sticky on the top; and, especially, a strong aroma -- sans cracks from which the aroma can leak and send a false signal. I, personally, don't bother with shaking it and listening for thumps.
@holisticgrenade See, if you'd just eat a fifteen-twenty pound watermelon and a head of lettuce every day, you'd stay hydrated enough that you wouldn't need to worry about chemtrails (beyond that the clouds are blotting out the beautiful blue sky).
@holisticgrenade Yes, I can acknowledge that I ought to try eating raw meat for two months, in the name of science. But it doesn't sound appealing in the least. I've tried raw eggs, though, and did not care for them.
@holisticgrenade Try eating only fruit (including non-sweet fruits like Cucumbers and Tomatoes) and different varieties of lettuce for two months, and see how you feel.
@holisticgrenade You're making yourself look like an idiot by continuing to use the word "literally" incorrectly. Why are you so dead set upon doing that?
@ChartGuys That's a fundamental, not a technical, assessment. (But, Yogi Berra notwithstanding, I guarantee you nuclear EROI will never be ready for prime time.)
@ChartGuys Of course, I concur with Yogi Berra's remark about predicting the future. But if we use the surplus/deficit as a proxy for per capita energy availability...what would be your technical assessment of the long-term trend?
@ChartGuys Decades? Permian extraction is peaking as we speak. You're actually in a good position, I'd say; being that you stack metals and grow your own food...
