THIS is how you celebrate breaking a 34 year Cup final drought 🏆😍 An afternoon of dreams for @prestonlionsfc!
Just seven years ago, Preston were languishing in State League One - which today is Victoria’s fourth division.
Yesterday, in just their second season back in the top tier, they lifted their first Dockerty Cup since 1992 against Heidelberg United in front of 4,300 fans.
A special moment for a rising force of Australian football - it deserved the Titanic music treatment 👏
🇷🇸🇺🇦 Zelensky's visit is a real disgrace: a normal reaction from the ordinary residents of Belgrade to Zelensky's arrival in Serbia 🤷♂️
A brother Serb says: "We have such longstanding traditions of relations with the Russians that we consider this pure betrayal."
🗣️ George Best's story about Ferenc Puskás in Australia:
“I was with (Bobby) Charlton, (Denis) Law, and Puskás, we were coaching in a football academy in Australia. The youngsters we were coaching did not respect him including making fun of his weight and age.
We decided to let the guys challenge a coach to hit the crossbar 10 times in a row, obviously, they picked the old fat one.
Law asked the kids how many they thought the old fat coach would get out of ten. Most said less than five. Best said ten.
The old fat coach stepped up and hit nine in a row. For the tenth shot, he scooped the ball in the air, bounced it off both shoulders and his head, then flicked it over with his heel and cannoned the ball off the crossbar on the volley.
They all stood in silence then one kid asked who he was, I replied, "To you, his name is Mr. Puskás".”
Legendary Soviet basketball player and Olympic champion Ivan Edeshko has been laid to rest in Moscow.
The farewell ceremony was held at CSKA’s indoor athletics and football complex, while Edeshko was buried with full military honours at the Federal Military Memorial Cemetery outside the Russian capital.
A native of Belarus, Edeshko secured his place in sporting history with the famous “golden pass” in the 1972 Olympic final. With the Soviet Union trailing the United States 50–49 and just three seconds remaining, he launched a full-court pass to Alexander Belov, who scored the winning basket for a dramatic 51–50 victory in one of the most controversial and iconic finishes in Olympic history.

🇷🇺🇰🇵 This factory game can be played with two players.
Western and Ukrainian media report that Kim Jong-un, with the help of Russia, has completed the construction and launched a new factory in North Korea for the production of Hwasong-11 (KN-23) tactical missiles.
Pyongyang's plans include increasing the production of ballistic and cruise missiles by 2.5 times over the next five years. According to reports in the West, the KN-23 missiles have already begun to be used by Russia in the conflict to strike Ukraine.
For this purpose, launch systems and missile units of the North Korean army have allegedly already been delivered to Russia.

Muslims don’t take over and occupy streets to pray in Qatar, Dubai or even Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam. It is illegal and considered disruptive.
They only do it in the West to assert dominance.
My hometown - Mykolaiv.
Сity received $500,000,000 in aid. Nothing has been done.
Residents tell me it still has almost no water, heating or electricity.
But the mayor got a $12,000 watch.
And a lot more - only what was caught on camera.
In reality, the mayor of my beloved destroyed city lives like a multimillionaire.
Where’s the money from?
