@venicequeenf I'm not a microscopy expert, so I can't judge that myself; I always rely on my experienced colleagues or lab veterinarians. Have you consulted Dr. Reinhardt?

@lea37810 I highly doubt Tarello can't differentiate babesia with stomatocytes with 40+ years of experience. Yes in Costa Rica a few years before getting severely ill after C19, and yes at Swiss TPH, Tarello found a specific plasmodium endemic to central America.

@lea37810 @Anel_Le13 @Gmwetz @Aguirre1Gustavo You had Babesia grade 4 at Tarello as I recall correctly. With babesia there's no need to confirm imho, Vet MDs diagnose babesia on a daily basis, no docs are as experienced as Vets in diagnosing babesia. My friend's daughter had plasmodium at Tarello.
