They share the workload, face the pressure and deliver results together. The reward system should reflect the same spirit of teamwork and fairness.

PLI should recognise performance while ensuring that the contribution of every cadre is fairly valued and equitably rewarded.

And 5-Day Banking is not about working less—it is about working smarter. It means better work-life balance, improved employee well-being and a more productive, motivated workforce, while continuing to serve customers effectively.

We are not asking for special treatment.

We are asking for fairness in rewards and progress in working conditions.

A stronger banking workforce means a stronger banking system.
