[river @shivbite]

wait why is he so leon kennedy

[mac 𖣠 @verullseye]

hes so fucking hot im siccck how can a man be so perfect

[river @shivbite]

@zenjaesh see… s2 was really that bad 😭 even people who’ve never played the game didn’t like it. such a huge step down from s1 honestly

[river @shivbite]

not really. tlou2 got hate mostly because people couldn’t handle the storyline especially joel’s death. but people who hate the show are often fans of the game who think it’s a dogshit adaptation. two totally different things.

[a.k. | sapphixated @sapphix8ed]

people who mindlessly hate on TLOU HBO are no better than the people who hated on TLOU2 when it came out🤷🏼‍♀️

[river @shivbite]

@Relihist s1 was way better than whatever the hell s2 was. tbh with how they handled the story in s2, i’m not sure they’ll be able to make up for it in s3 since the damage already feels done… but who knows

[river @shivbite]

@KoolKeith9000 you get it 😭 i love the game but i can totally see why it wouldn’t work for everyone and the show just makes it worse. like you said, ellie feels so inconsistent and it ends up making the whole story feel messy tbh

[Ethan @AlphaOmega_99]

@gabedoesvp I’d go as far to say I don’t think you can truly love TLOU2 as a game and love that season at the same time, they’re not engaging with you as a viewer or player on the same emotional wave lengths. The show is completely neutered because Craig couldn’t handle TLOU2 himself

[river @shivbite]

crying this is so cute 😭😭😭

[bris @brisczs]

That baby doesn't even look like me

[eryn .𖥔 ݁ ˖ @snortingplagas]

i don’t mind cleon or aeon. they both are good ships for different reasons. i think the ship wars between the two are ridiculous because ppl can like different things

[river @shivbite]

@maxineprix WELL YESSS you’re the best

[river @shivbite]

@flowerypunk he’s not a baby anymore

[river @shivbite]

guys he’s 19 now 😭 happy birthday daniel diaz 😭

[river @shivbite]

@h34225195 fr ppl be so weird and hostile on here over video game opinions 😭 but yeah even though i don’t like the show i’ll still watch the next season eventually to see how it plays out.

[river @shivbite]

wow i know this is nothing but this might be the first time ppl disagreed with me and we still had a normal convo without anyone being a dick about it 😭 love this

[river @shivbite]

not really. tlou2 got hate mostly because people couldn’t handle the storyline especially joel’s death. but people who hate the show are often fans of the game who think it’s a dogshit adaptation. two totally different things.

[river @shivbite]

@billieglazer707 the concept of daniel diaz being older than you

[river @shivbite]

@snowberey i wanted to mention it too but it would’ve been too long 😭 that’s kinda what i mean though, a lot of tlou2 hate came from… not great reasons, while the criticism toward the show is mostly from fans who don’t like how it’s being adapted. it’s not the same kind of hate

[river @shivbite]

@Relihist oh yeah i know, and i’m not against people who genuinely criticize the story. it was a really bold choice so it makes sense it didn’t work for everyone. i just think there’s a difference between disliking the story itself and criticizing the show for how it’s adapting that story.

[river @shivbite]

@StoneyTeej same. #notmyellie

[river @shivbite]

@h34225195 that’s fair. i mean it’d be great if they can redeem it later, i’m open to that. i just wasn’t satisfied with how they handled the story in s2. and dw i’m chill 😭 i actually appreciate you having a normal convo about it without being a jerk, even if we disagree.
