@YashrajNaik6 @sheevaangii It should be limited to women's only because women don't have the same body as men. And there is still discrimination between men and women on the pay scale. And if you want the same path then follow the girls path.
Having paid menstrual leaves will only put women at disadvantage.
- Employers will prefer less female candidates.
- Pay disparity will keep on increasing as the salaries will be lower (Women are still not paid fair salaries for the same role).
- Even maternity leaves are seen as a vacation at some places. Expecting mothers are hesitant to reveal it in the interview rounds.
- There can be resistance from male coworkers doing the same job in the same role.
Granting flexibility and support to work remotely would be a better solution.
Like it or not, we aren’t ready for paid period leaves yet.
@PepeChhotu @sheevaangii Hey hey everyone has sick leaves agreed on that and paid leaves also not a good option but cramps are real bro when you are in the same shoes as girls are then you will understand. Giving an option to wfh will be the best option.
