@ninamohanty They are so bad at everything. There’s virtually no support for merchants that try to sell or market with them. I can’t understand it either.
@thesamparr I imagine the wheat used and sugars used in the products in Europe cause less inflammation. There’s anecdotal evidence in my household full of people who can’t eat gluten if it was produced in the USA. However, Italian or other European-produced wheat products are tolerable.
@brandontroberts I usually go with,
“Please do x”
Or
“Consider doing x”
My input is for whomever is reading the feedback. 🤷♂️ Given that I’m often responsible for the team, when I ask, it should be done by whomever submitted the PR.
@notdanilu Frankly, I’ve been thinking about getting one. I think there’s a fairly significant cross-section of devs that have contemplated or even acted upon those ideas. I am one of them.
@bob_buzzard@theunenth@salesforce@CommerceCloud Demandware (built on Intershop) was like that for the first several years I worked on it. The docs really didn’t improve too much until SF bought them. And that’s mostly because now the NDA was no longer restricting practitioners from talking about it.
@ninamohanty@ChrisNakTaylor In my experience, their docs are entirely unhelpful for non-technical users to set up merchant accounts. Which makes it very difficult for SIs to work with clients to stand up payments on Stripe. Which is odd because I remember when Stripe would have been my first choice.
The #irony of @DavidSedaris saying he didn’t want to uphold Greek tradition almost immediately after Bill complaining about parents who don’t want to “civilize” their children. (@billmaher S21E9)
