Thanks everyone who’s donated via @mikcritchlow McMillan tribute page so far. In the last 5 weeks of his life, he referred to Tracy & Amanda, his McMillan nurses as “His Angels” 😇 https://t.co/PIywijAPJ7
Social documentarian Mik Critchlow, who passed away last week on his 68th birthday, told the story of his industrial hometown of Ashington with unparalleled insight and sensitivity: https://t.co/MM5LkmEh5a
@pixelsonapage@mikcritchlow Really? That’s brilliant. I was an estate agent for 15 years and then fell into the industry 6 years ago. Couldn’t imagine anything else now
As well as all his own amazing work, my Dad also did my studio photography, for my business. He said working for me was like being down the pits in the 1870s 😂 Sometimes photographing up to 300 hats an hour, with the beautiful Olivia ❤️@mikcritchlow Man of many talents.
@mikcritchlow Following a private interment next Wednesday 22nd March, there will be a celebrant service & celebration of his life at The Northern Social Club in Ashington. 2.45pm Everyone welcome.
My dad had asked for family flowers only, with donations in lieu to McMillan.
@Deco800_ @MarcDavenant I remember the DCCC days very well. Was only about 11 at the time, but it was an interesting day out. Have a signed copy of More than a game somewhere.
@J0hnB0yC@sonyaphotoart Thanks for the lovely thought, his name is Mik though, and not Mike. My dad was very particular, and would have hated being called Mike 😂
It’s with great sadness & a 💔 heart, I can confirm following speculation today, that my Father @mikcritchlow passed away peacefully on the afternoon of his 68th birthday earlier this week. He was an inspiration to so many & will be greatly missed.
