I cannot believe Salaun got teed up for clapping after her 5th triple went down🤦🏽♀️ What are we doing #WNBA refs and why aren’t those techs for everyone?!?
@Msbtl11@WNBA_SuperHater@pointmadejosh Y’all said she would be out of the league after the 1st year then the 2nd year. She’s not going anywhere anytime soon and fyi y’all are the only one running with that she’s a cancer. She’s right where she belong now. Go cry some more cause that’s exactly what’s going on.
@realalexlains Jealousy doesn’t look good on you boo!! She slayed in real time in front of millions including you. May her next move be her best move!!
sabrina ionescu on officiating in the wnba:
“when you watch nba or men’s college, star players get any call. you can touch them with a fingernail, they’re going to the free throw line. in the W, they don’t care—there are no handcheck calls—freedom of movement is different...”
If we’re being honest, people are using the latest Angel Reese situation as a cover for their innate racism and hate towards her.
Let’s talk about it.

We’re constantly told that Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are “rivals”, and today we were even told that Reese “hates” Clark simply for reacting to a flagrant foul committed against her.
The negative press around Reese will never stop. No matter what she does, there will always be a new attempt to twist it into something negative. And yet, she doesn’t respond. She keeps playing. Keeps going.
Angel Reese is one of the best players at her position. A power forward’s job is to score, rebound, and defend. And she does all three. But instead of focusing on her game, certain sports media outlets would rather push a storyline they created themselves. A “rivalry” built for clicks—not rooted in truth. And the fact that so many either don’t see it or pretend not to is what’s truly disappointing.
Angel Reese is the most scrutinized player in the WNBA. From what she wears to what she says, how she looks, how she plays, who she talks to, and who she hangs around—nothing seems to be off-limits. Some fans will defend it by saying, “She’s a celebrity. People have the right to say what they want.” But deep down, we know that’s not what this is about.
If this were really about basketball, then everything would be left on the floor. The stats would speak for themselves. The games would do the talking. And what they’d say is that Caitlin Clark is good at what she does—and so is Angel Reese.
Hate is a strong word, and we don’t use it lightly. But someone here is clearly being hated. And we can assure you—it isn’t Caitlin Clark.
Look this is not a rivalry. Not a real one anyway. It’s something else entirely, though it’s hard to name. What’s clear is that it shouldn’t take manufactured conflict to elevate a league already filled with talent. The game deserves better. So do the players.
