I'm very disappointed with @SquarespaceHelp. A transfer of a client's domain has gone very wrong, leaving her site down for almost 2 weeks. I don't know what's happened to their support, but this is really bad. Losing access to your business for 2 weeks? Come on.

I'm just 🤓 delighted by the "Insert Text By Typing" action in @keyboardmaestro, which lets me get around text fields on web forms where pasting is disabled (generally not a good UX choice). It's a simple thing, but hoo boy is it nice to have. 👍👍

Then @proxyman_app released a new version (https://t.co/9zo5uq6HjD) that includes a feature I requested. Using the Scripting feature, you can now inspect the IP address of a device, which means e.g. sending API requests of different devices to different endpoints. 👍

I'm testing the new alpha of @ddev (https://t.co/2oYjzHk5XB), which improves database snapshots. Snapshots let you test destructive changes and easily revert, without having to dump and restore the database manually, and the changes make it even easier. 👍

I started using @proxyman_app recently, and it is *fantastic*. It makes the basics easy and the more advanced possible, as the best things do. It's a totally native Mac app — YES. And the lead developer was almost alarmingly responsive to a support request. 😃👍👍

Two substantial nerd victories in the last 24 hours. 1) I replaced the battery in my 2015 MacBook Pro (thanks @ifixit) and 2) Finally understood and solved a frustrating cache issue in the Drupal platform I'm working on. It's amazing how relieving that feels.
