Coláiste Cois Life, Lucan, has been awarded €5,000 as part of the Féilte Bursary Scheme to collaborate with six schools* to promote philosophical education using Philosophy4Children (P4C) pedagogy in the context of primary and post-primary Gaelscoileanna and Gaelcholáistí. By facilitating two workshops, in which teachers actively engage in P4C methodologies, it aims to form a network of educators, trained in P4C trí Ghaeilge, and continue to promote the value of philosophy for Irish-medium education.

As well as being a great composer he was a genius, a rebel, an unrequited lover, a tragic figure in western music history

He left us a truly wonderful legacy for which we should be very thankful
