The Samsung Life Cycle:
This is how deeply a South Korean citizen can live within the Samsung ecosystem w/o ever touching a phone:
Birth: You are born in a Samsung Medical Center.
Living: You live in a Samsung Raemian apartment complex.
Finance: Your life is insured by Samsung Life Insurance & your meals are bought with a Samsung Card.
Leisure: You spend your weekends at Everland (South Korea's largest theme park, owned by Samsung).
Death: Your funeral is likely held at a Samsung-owned funeral parlor.
Quite a journey for Samsung, from exporting local groceries like dried fish, vegetables, & noodles to what it has become today.
If 1987 is to happen again, next week should be it.
Structurally it’s a different world, but these types of events only rhyme.
Scary proposition I see all over Twitter this weekend.
