So, first offence is LJ tackling the man without the ball, out of ruck context.

@Rugby_Scoop To add.Referees look for red flags if players becomes illegal targets if they are completely detached from the immediate contest. One is passive body language - backs are turned, they are retreating, or hands on knees showing zero intent to contest the ball.JW is doing 2/3.

@Raely22 @WorldRugby Technically correct but I think referee's are applying logic to keep games alive. Forwards can't play the ball as they are part of the ruc. NZ are never winning the ruck so digging it out makes sense. The game has other laws needing attention, like skew scrum put-ins.
