🚨 Georgia's Ivanishvili regime has recently launched a barrage of attacks on the Trump administration – even comparing him to President Biden and claiming he's similarly controlled by the 'Deep State'
Over the past two days, the Ivanishvili regime and its proxies have begun shifting their narrative regarding the Trump administration
🧵(1/6) Here is a thread of several statements made by the ruling Georgian Dream representatives, GD proxies, and government-affiliated figures that show the shift in the government’s narrative regarding Trump and demonstrate the emerging claim that the 'Deep State' persists through Trump’s administration👇
Tariff policies are the economic version of burning your house to kill a spider.
1. Tariffs disrupt supply chains - in 2002 President Bush imposed steel tariffs. Steelmakers smiled, briefly. Downstream industries? They lost 200 k jobs, more than the entire steel sector jobs
3. Tariffs can benefit one sector while raising costs for others - also in 2018, aluminium tariffs. U.S. smelters cheered. But for the rest of the economy? $1.7 billion in extra costs, hitting everything from beer cans to cars, forcing companies to raise prices and cut jobs.
Today, masked police officers without identification brutally attacked peaceful demonstrators. This has become unpunished routine. Journalist Mzia Amaglobeli remains on hunger strike, protesting her detention and the crackdown on press freedom. #sanctionivanishvili
Breaking: Slovakia’s PM says Mamuka Mamulashvili from🇺🇦’s Georgian Legion attempting a coup.
Because in the world of Kremlin-fed logic, pro-democracy protests = coup attempts. Classic CCCP-era playbook: when people push back, blame the “external agents”

Georgia’s delegation just stormed out of #PACE .Protesters demand snap elections, but GD says “no proof” of fraud. Even if the elections were flawless, still, GD ran on EU integration, and 2 months later, we’re further from EU than in 1999, when we joined the Council of Europe
Irakli Rukhadze is the Chief Propagandist of the Ivanishvili regime and holds numerous corrupt assets for his boss, who is selling Georgia to the CCP, War Criminal Putin & the Iranian regime. His propaganda outfit, Imedi TV, broadcasts 24/7 hate of America. Sanctions are coming
Out of the world’s top 5 p4p fighters, two are Georgian. This is another reason I'm hopeful for Georgia’s fight for democracy and EU integration: The unshakable resilience of its people, and the relentless spirit to persevere against all odds. #UFC#merab#GeorgiaProtests
Several key European politicians have called on OSCE PA President @PiaKauma to avoid visiting Georgia at this time. The Kremlin and Beijing-backed regime of Georgian Dream will inevitably manipulate the visit to claim legitimation of the rigged election, the systematic violent crackdown, torture of hundreds of citizens, over 30 political prisoners, and the brutal beating of citizens resulting in broken bones—with nobody held responsible.
Interestingly, OSCE PA Secretary General Roberto Montella (right) is a close, long-time friend of Tbilisi Mayor and GD Secretary General Kakha Kaladze, who played in Milan in the past and is now sanctioned by the US and several EU member states. Montella has often boasted about this connection, which is not a secret to anyone. Members of the Assembly will surely be interested to know whether this well-known friendship has played any role in the push for this already highly controversial visit.
This year, there are no new resolutions. Instead, we carry forward a promise as old as our history: to fight for freedom and to reclaim our place in the family of Europe. Here’s to hope, to perseverance, and to the belief that our best days lie ahead.

In Tbilisi, Georgia-a city where the turn of the year is traditionally celebrated in the warmth of our homes, surrounded by loved ones. But this year Rustaveli Avenue proved to be home. After weeks of relentless, leaderless protests, it stood as a symbol of unity and resilience.
And in true Georgian spirit, we brought our traditions with us. A 1,500-meter-long supra stretched down Rustaveli, where people shared food, stories, and hope, celebrating our shared fight for freedom.
'Sanctions? Nothing to worry about' says GD
But this calm facade is a tactic to maintain authority, like Milgram's infamous experiment where people inflicted harm just because an authority figure told them to
Sanctions target the pillars of GD power structures & they'll crumble
BREAKING: Bidzina Ivanishvili sanctioned by the U.S. for dragging Georgia closer to Moscow's orbit. Guess owning sharks wasn’t enough to keep him off the hook. 🦈🇬🇪 #Sanctions#Georgia#Democracy
