@PadraigOraghail congrats on the first one. while it sits in review, draft the promotional text too. it's the 170 characters at the top of the store page, and you can change it later without a new build
@eduard_pantazi@Apple@AppleSupport@AppStore that's rough. if resolution center stays silent, the formal appeal to the App Review Board is the next step. it runs separately from the reviewer thread
Me: we're localized.
The store page: English screenshots, German description, Japanese keywords.
A user in Tokyo, looking at the screenshots: which part?
@laroymike congrats on going live. steps on the lock screen is a nice one to show in screenshot 1, the widget sitting on a real lock screen explains it faster than any caption
@max_melnik22 if the floor really lifts, small long tail terms stop all reading as 5 and you can finally compare them. curious whether it's new demand or apple just rescaled the bottom
Things that break when you translate a screenshot headline:
- German: one word, two lines
- Arabic: everything mirrors, except the arrow you drew
- Japanese: it fits, and you can't check it
- Finnish: see German
- English: you never noticed it was too long
@badrships the main screen, with one line on top saying what it does for them. people see the first three in search, so screenshot 1 has to make sense on its own
How ShotLingo works: there is one design, and language is a value it renders with.
Write the text once, then name the markets. Export every page in every language as one ZIP.
