Jihoz= my gamer tag
Jiho= my korean name
Jeffrey= my english name

Story time: my grandpa gave me my Korean name, Jiho around the time I turned 18. Maybe it's because I was now a man.

Or maybe it's because I got into Yale and could now be accepted as Korean 🤣

Anyways, the Chinese characters for my Korean name (for some reason all Korean names have chinese versions because Chinese was actually the official written language of Korea until King Sejong invented Hangul in the 1400's) translates into something like:

"Giving people around him financial luck."

My grandpa also told me to use Jiho as my name in my career.

In college, only my very close friends knew about the name Jiho. My mom never really got used to it after calling me Jeff for the first 18 years.

My wife calls me Jiho.

So I really do think of my name as Jiho now after that.
