Must listen. @MattiFriedman joins @dansenor to unpack how Nicholas Kristof's @nytimes column on alleged sexual violence committed against Palestinians gets the story badly wrong, relying on sources like Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which has falsely accused Israel of organ theft and claims dogs are trained to rape prisoners. That kind of sourcing doesn't just discredit a column. It leads people to question sexual violence allegations, doing a profound disservice to victims everywhere.
All victims of sexual violence deserve rigorous, impartial journalism. This is not it.
UPDATE: Following the disturbing, targeted shootings at two synagogues in March in Vaughan and Toronto, the joint York Regional Police - Toronto Police Service investigation has released images of a suspect, thought to be responsible for both shootings. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
From the murders at Bondi Beach and a synagogue in Manchester to recent shootings at synagogues in Toronto, violent antisemitic attacks have surged across the globe since 10/7.
ADL's Susan Heller-Pinto sat down with J7 partners — @ECAJewry's Daniel Aghion, @BoardofDeputies' @PhilR_R and @CIJAinfo's @nshack — to discuss the situations of their country's Jewish communities today. #NLS2026
Wow. Incredibly moving to see hundreds of surfers show up at 6:30 a.m. near Bondi Beach for a paddle-out and moment of silence in solidarity with the Jewish community and the 15 victims of Sunday's massacre. https://t.co/QMwldkHG7O
I haven't cried since hearing about the attack in Australia but this video brought me to tears.
Absolutely devastating. 💔💔
"...when we finally made it out of the beach and got home that night our children were crying and they said please turn off the menorah our home is going to become a target and my husband and I looked at each other, we said no way, we're not going down like this, we don't turn off menorahs, we don't hide our kippahs, we stand proud and loud..."
The body of 22-year-old American-Israeli Omer Neutra z”l has finally been returned to Israel and his family.
Ronen and Orna Neutra spent more than a year not knowing whether their son was alive or dead. Last December, they finally learned the truth - Omer was murdered on 10/7 and his body dragged into Gaza by terrorists.
More than two years later, Omer can finally be laid to rest. May his memory forever be a blessing. And may we continue to see the return of all remaining hostages.

ADL is not perfect, but a “study” that looks at fewer than 300 words from materials we do not use anymore to draw conclusions about our approach isn't a serious study; it's a joke. Pathetic @tabletmag would run this hit piece and then decline to run our statement in response.
You can criticize @ADL all you want. But if you think hitting us is more important than battling antisemitism, that's on you. We are going to focus relentlessly and unapologetically on our core purpose — protecting the Jewish people.
It’s one thing to acknowledge Palestinian suffering and express your hopes for the war to end, but how about using your celebrity status to pressure Hamas to actually treat Gazans with humanity and release the innocent hostages? Boycotting Israelis in the film industry only widens the divides you seek to narrow.
And the Oscar for Best Performative and Most Divisive Gesture goes to… https://t.co/spTQm3uiwN
The Druze in Syria are being violently targeted by Sunni extremist groups affiliated with, and praised by the Syrian regime, including fighters from Islamist terror organizations like ISIS and al-Qaeda. In July, Sunni extremists and tribesmen massacred Druze men, women and children in and around the city of Suwayda. Members of the community have been beaten, murdered, raped, and abducted.
The threat to Syria’s Druze remains real, and current, yet the world isn’t paying enough attention.
ADL stands in full solidarity with the Druze community in Syria, Israel, and around the world.
This is a call for action, for solidarity.
Last month, Edan Alexander - the last living American to be held in Hamas captivity - was finally released. Today, he returns to his town of Tenafly, NJ, where the streets are lined with crowds to welcome him home.
53 hostages remain in Gaza. We will continue to demand their release until we #BringThemAllHome.
We are appalled by the vile celebrations online over the killing of Arab citizens from the village of Tamra by an Iranian missile.
Such reactions are a reflection of racism, and we call on all to condemn and denounce them.

Gadi Mozes is 80 years old. He was kidnapped without his hearing aid or glasses. He spent 15 months without his medication, unable to see or hear properly, yet still managed to walk tall, head held high, out of that hell.
He’s a hero ❤️
Meeting with Jewish Dutch community leaders and organizations today underscored a harsh reality: the hunting of Jews through Amsterdam’s streets is a direct result of unchecked, rising antisemitism in the Netherlands and worldwide. This escalation has dramatically intensified since Hamas's October 7 attack, with antisemitic incidents surging here by over 800% in the months that followed. Simply put, this atrocity is a failure of society and law enforcement to protect its citizens. Dutch and European authorities must hold those responsible to account and take decisive action to prevent further violence. @Stichting_BLEW@CIDI_nieuws
Heartbreaking 💔
Family members of the 107 hostages still being held in Gaza calling out to their loved ones from the border with the hope that they can hear them.
