The way CBDT is heckling taxpayers & denying the basic right to refund is pathetic.

Dropping an sms, saying some discrepancies noted & try revising the return or file updated returns.

Can someone please file petition in the court of avoiding such petrified messages for no fault of tax payers.

The CBDT has all options of sending notices, demanding interest & also penalty if tax payer has caused non-payment. Holding refunds and not following simple law is clearly unwarranted and lacks good governance.

Mumbai roads are terrible. Unending patch work on the key EEH and WEH, uneven and patchwork on key signals, worldclass craters on the Kalina Vakola bridge immensely contribute 20-30 min to the travel time

@IamShajanSamuel It's easier said. You need to consider 3 things.. weather, pollution and infrastructure. Even if the pollution & infra is solved, still weather is not suitable that people can walk around all day. There is a very small window in evening but that too closes very quick

@dmuthuk @nsitharaman Not many people are realising but removing the indexation is equivalent to the Inheritance Tax. Instead of adjusting for inflation, now the entire amount is taxed. Still the only differentiator is that the tax is at time of sale and not on date of inheritance #inheritancetax
