Excited to share that I’ve joined @offchain as a Senior Product Manager – Core Protocol for the @Arbitrum stack.
I'll be working on protocol level UX innovations — translating protocol complexity into simple, intuitive experiences for users & devs across the ecosystem.💙
Financial systems set a high bar. The programmable economy needs infra that can meet it.
Here's what we're building for businesses:
- Predicable unit economies
- Compliance engine
- Configurable confidentiality
- Faster settlement times
- Priority gas auctions
And more 👇
This is absurd. Every team has a responsibility to make sound security and engineering decisions for their users - whether that means not pushing incredibly unsafe defaults or not choosing to rely on them.
The industry needs to raise standards, and teams must take ownership.
Recently there has been discussion about replacing EVM with RISC-V as the ISA for L1 Ethereum.
@Offchain we believe WASM should be the future smart contract ISA for L1 instead of RISC-V. RISC-V can still be used as the ISA for ZK Proving.
We offer this guidance from our experience with WASM, in our commitment to the success of the @Ethereum community.
WASM brings to the table powerful safety, isolation, and instrumentation features; strong compiler and toolchain support; efficient execution (and proving); and, perhaps most importantly, it is flexible enough to be future-proof in the uncertain and rapidly-changing environment of blockchain execution and proving.

A pain point we've heard about are gas price spikes during peak demand on @arbitrum. Raising gas targets is an easy solution to reach for, but doing so is only 1 part of a more holistic scaling strategy
Lets recap the new AIP for Arb chains to handle pricing during peak demand🧵
Research post by @EdFelten on multi-constraint pricing, https://t.co/gerD80vWuW, which is a step towards full-fledged multi-dimensional pricing. The post explains current L2 execution pricing of Arbitrum chain, and proposes adding constraints for better resource allocation.
Amazing to see that @arbitrum has just passed 2 billion transactions. When I started on this journey five years ago, I never would have imagined that would have been the case.
Let's 10x this over the next few years but take a moment to reflect the impact that we have seen.
Arbitrum Everywhere.
lets take L1 vs L2 debates out of the equation for a second.
the reason why battle tested entrepreneurs like @vnovakovski make certain decisions is that they understand their core objective is not to satisfy VC bags, psuedo alignment theses, or arbitrary "token premiums"
but rather, to solve real problems and build THE BEST product they possibly can.
when you see builders like this, you know it is good to back them because they will simply choose what works best for their goals and end users without playing politics or twitter games.
at the end of the day, they only care about the ultimate truth: will this make someone's life better, will this give them the best experience they can have, will this cut down legwork needed to achieve a certain outcome.
when you explore these things you can really get into the real WHY behind lighter's decision to become an L2.
the most important alignment you should have is your alignment to build the best product possible, all else is useless if you do not.
