Sir last year took a midnight flight to Bali from B'luru T2. For an avgeek like me, the scene was mesmerizing! TWO Lufthansa flights, Japan Airlines, Air France, Cathay, KLM and so many other wide bodies docked! Was hoping this scene would materialize in Chennai soon! :(

Late S.M.Krishna was a visionary. Read how much effort he put to build Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport. It has been operational for nearly last 2 decades. One of the best airports in the world. It has even overtaken Mumbai to be the second airport in the country in terms of passengers handled. This airport has changed the fortunes of Bengaluru.

Chennai is already way behind in building a new airport. And media reports that Tamil Nadu government is even cancelling that.

However as someone from Coimbatore, a city known for its industries and entrepreneurship, I feel Tamil Nadu’s industrial ambitions deserve more serious engagements and representation

When we are aspiring towards a trillion-dollar economy, investor outreach should reflect vision, policy strength not come across like just another reel.

Please take this criticism in a positive spirit from someone who genuinely wants Tamil Nadu’s industrial growth story to be represented strongly without compromise

Was surprised to learn today that the #Bengaluru suburban rail network is going to be fully air conditioned. #Kride has apparently placed an order for ~150 coaches that will be comparable to metro coaches. This is brilliant. Something we can look to implement in #Chennai too.

@vignesh_1718 I was thinking exactly this yesterday! In fact it's amazing how efficient Chennai Corp are for example if you just tag them to the right complaint. You don't even have to tag your political rep directly leave alone the CM or Minister, unless some escalation is needed.

@svembu Sir I think along with HSR, we must also experiment with moonshot solutions like Hyperloop. That will be real competition to air travel imo. It requires a push from someone of your stature. India can lead the world in practical implementation of that tech!

Surprising how few people even know that DMK (Mayor) still controls Chn Corp politically. In fact most people are not even aware that there is a 3rd layer of Governance in India below the MPs and MLAs. Recent awareness re this topic is actually thanks to Mr PTR!
