2021 airdrops gave me some lessons when it comes to taxes regarding income and capital losses 🙃

@NateMcCarter95 I’m not an expert but my understanding is that you’re taxed as income for the USD value of that token when you received it and then you’d be taxed capital gain/loss if the value changed before you swapped it for ETH

@NateMcCarter95 Yes, ordinary income of the value of the airdrop at the moment you claimed it. Any movement from the moment you claimed it becomes capital gains/losses
