Friends, since morning one single thought has been repeatedly crossing my mind. The absence of rainfall and snowfall during winter in our state of #Uttarakhand, as well as in other northern states such as Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh is giving rise to extremely serious concerns. The underlying processes and their adverse consequences are now beginning to surface.
Agriculture, the local economy, employment, the loans taken by people and the repayment of interest on them, forests and wildlife, rivers, glaciers, irrigation systems, drinking water, and overall water availability! so many challenges are standing before us today.
The situation in Uttarakhand is such that people are now turning to gods and deities, praying for rain and snowfall. On the other hand, governments seem to have maintained a complete silence on this issue, as if nothing has happened or is happening at all. There is no visible concern, no sense of urgency. Everyone appears busy with their own agendas, politics, meetings, and individual projects, while life-sustaining issues like rain and snowfall have completely disappeared from their priorities.
Ideally, at this time the system should have formed a small team of two or three sensible, dedicated, and result-oriented officers to seriously study the widespread impact these conditions will have on crores of people in the state. When we say that Uttarakhand is the pride and crown of the nation, it is also true that the situation here will be felt as far as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Despite this reality, neither at the state level nor at the central government level do we see any meaningful dialogue, planning, or collective deliberation by bringing all northern states together on a common platform to address this grave situation.
We continue to discuss large-scale deforestation, the current models of development, climate change, and global warming and these discussions will surely continue in the future as well. But perhaps at this moment, when the system appears inactive and ordinary citizens feel helpless and vulnerable, it seems that comfort and relief can only come from nature and faith.
Therefore, I humbly request all of you: the next time you remember your chosen deity, please close your eyes for a moment and sincerely pray for early rainfall and snowfall. Perhaps this collective prayer may bring some solace during these difficult times.
🙏

@IndiGo6E@DGCAIndia Two possible scenarios @DGCAIndia 👇
1️⃣ Internal misuse - someone inside Indigo cancelled it for a VIP.
2️⃣ Data leak - passenger info leaked & exploited.
Either way: a massive breach of trust & safety.

@IndiGo6E Even at the airport, @IndiGo6E staff were unhelpful. They told us to buy new tickets at last-minute Diwali prices
There is only 1 MUM-JRG direct flight which was full on 18, 19, & 20 Oct
Our Diwali plans were ruined 💔
Our scheduled flight departed at 4 PM

Customer care confirmed:
✔️ Changes via Indigo’s website
❌ Not through travel agent
Yet Indigo refused accountability - “first time we’ve seen such a case.”

@IndiGo6E 🕧 11:45–12:00 AM, 17 Oct: Someone - not us - repeatedly changed the registered email & phone on our PNR.
We never shared any OTPs. How was this even possible?

They must be trying to cancel your ticket to give it to someone else. It’s an inside job. If your ticket has been cancelled complain to @DGCAIndia@IndiGo6E should investigate the matter & find out the insiders involved in this scam.

Hello Sir,@byadavbjp Navi Mumbai wetlands needs your attention. By just calling it Flamingo City doesnt do any justice to it. We need to protect this from @CIDCO_Ltd which only works for the builders and real estate mafias.
@moefcc
The Indian delegation to #cop15 at Zimbabwe was led by the Union Minister @moefcc@byadavbjp .
We the residents of Navi Mumbai request him to visit Navi Mumbai & to see for himself the Wetlands which @CIDCO_Ltd wants to destroy for real estate mafias even though part of NWIA.
