The best player on a team isn’t always the player who scores the most. Sometimes it’s the player who has a high IQ or a diverse/versatile skill set or a player who is unselfish & coachable or who knows their role inside & out. Basing “good” only on points scored is a big mistake!
Confidence comes from preparation
Those that are confident in their game are the ones who have spent hours and hours working on their craft
Those that aren’t confident know that they haven’t put in the required hours
Confidence is built in empty gyms when no one is watching
A message to players entering their off season.. If you didn’t have the season you wanted, change what you are doing/working on + work harder & smarter.. have a plan, track progress, invest time
If you continue to do the same thing, you will continue to get the same results
Winners don’t need motivation. Winners need discipline.
Discipline is about getting it done because it needs to be done.. not because you “feel like it”
