@chedetofficial -With respect, Datuk - this is pure nostalgia dressed up as analysis.
If Tun Mahathir was PM today, KLIA won’t magically become Changi.
Let’s not rewrite history. Under his watch-
-MAS collapsed twice
-Projek MSC stalled
-Cyberjaya became a ghost town for 15 years
-Putrajaya debts ballooned
-Tajuddin Ramli-era losses nearly destroyed MAS
-Crony toll agreements locked Rakyat for 3 decades
-IPP contracts guaranteed private profit, public burden
Changi didn’t fall from the sky. Singapore spent decades building governance & zero-crony infrastructure.
Malaysia spent decades cleaning up political leftovers.
So please lah, Datuk - KLIA leaking today is a 25-year accumulation of that era, not a 2-year problem.
As for "foreigners buying our airport"-
Khazanah + EPF still hold 70%.
GIP + ADIA are global infra funds, not pasar malam operators.
Even Tun sold national assets to foreign investors. Proton, land, industrial parks - all happened then.
Now suddenly foreign capital is evil?
This idea that he would "fix everything"-
If he could, he had 22 years to do it.
You also speak as if this country has no capable, young, dynamic Bumiputera leaders.
Datuk, the problem isn’t talent - Malaysia has plenty.
The problem is old political stock sitting on comfortable chairs for 40 years.
Clear them out, bring in real technocrats & young Bumiputera professionals - then you’ll finally see the difference.
Malaysia today doesn’t need another round of political godfather worship.
It needs-
-institutional reform,
-clean governance,
-technocratic leadership,
-accountability,
A generation that isn’t chained to 1980s politics.
If you genuinely want solutions, Datuk - stop selling the past as the future.
@ChinainEnglis There is no such thing as an Israeli people. Israel is a made-up country, based on a big lie (SCAM) about promised lands. It forcibly steals Palestinian land and displaces and kills the natives. It has no legitimacy.
🚨JUST IN: China has just CANCELLED all jet orders from American manufacturer Boeing to in response to President Trump hitting the country with tariffs as high as 145% on Chinese goods.
China will also no longer purchase any aircraft-related equipment from American companies.
