Unveiled as part of Jahan Vishwas, Wahan Shakti, its Navratri and Durga Puja 2026 campaign, the installation at its Kymore plant in Madhya Pradesh was created across a 70 ft × 70 ft canvas using 15,000 Ambuja Cement and ACC cement bags—representing 750 tonnes of cement—and brought together 12,600 man- hours of collective effort.

We spend hours on fashion, but seconds on nutrition!

When we buy a shirt at a clothing store, we often spend hours. We try on five shirts, debate the colour, check the fabric, and think twice about the price.

But we spend barely any time on the biscuits we eat. Two biscuits a day doesn’t sound like much. But two biscuits every day means 730 biscuits a year.

And this is where I think we need to start paying more attention.

So if we can spend hours choosing a T-shirt, why can’t we spend 5 minutes understanding the food we're putting inside our bodies?

VIDEO | Delhi: All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) General Secretary, Rupam Roy, says, "On March 5, 2025, we had given a call for a strike, in which we raised many issues. The issues were five-day banking, non-implementation, and the lack of recruitment in banks. Along with that, PLI was also an issue, which at that time DFS had unilaterally proposed to implement in public sector banks for Scale IV and above. Whereas we have an agreement with the IBA that, from messenger to general manager, there was a uniform PLI formula under which, based on the bank's performance, there was a provision to give PLI from 0 days to 15 days... We gave a call for a strike over all these issues. After that, the CLC called us. Discussions were also held with the IBA, and in that CLC meeting, there were representatives of DFS, representatives of IBA, and representatives of all the unions of the United Forum."

The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.

At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.

Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.

Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.

We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
