Members of Congress don’t swear an oath to a political party.
They swear to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Two hundred seven Republicans betrayed their oath.
By statute (50 U.S.C. § 3023), the nominee must have "extensive national security expertise," cannot serve in a dual capacity (such as concurrently leading an intelligence agency), and cannot be located within the Executive Office of the President.
Rep. Crow: "I heard Marco Rubio yesterday saying, 'this isn't a war.' It just reminded me of my time in Iraq…Patrolling the streets of Baghdad in 120 degree heat, taking sniper fire, having roadside bombs blow up and people back in Washington saying, 'this isn't a war.' Well, it sure felt like a war to me. And I can tell you, it sure feels like a war to the 50,000+ U.S. Service members that have to deal with air raids and drone strikes."
It's been two weeks since I connected Trump's Acting Attorney General with Epstein survivors and they haven't heard a peep from the DOJ. That's disgraceful.
Todd Blanche said he'd meet with them—and I will not let him off the hook.
Epstein survivors deserve justice.
Rep. Robert Garcia Just Escalated The Epstein Fight.
Garcia accused the administration of withholding records to protect Trump, Mar-a-Lago, and potential co-conspirators connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
"We cannot take Todd Blanche's word."
Garcia says the public is being asked to trust conclusions while key files remain hidden from view.
That's why Democrats keep returning to the same demand:
Release the documents.
Because as long as major portions of the Epstein files remain sealed, redacted, or disputed, allegations of a cover-up aren't going away.
Rantz: This idea that this is like the biggest priority is obviously not true
Phillip: Why did he call that press conference today? What was the top issue? Because he wanted to show them a chart about the reflecting pool.
Rantz: I'm not moved by the fact that the guy who's interested and obsessed with real estate and projects
Coming from a former crack and opiate addict: you can't humiliate or beat down Hunter Biden. He's already done that to himself, so don't waste your time. He beat the odds. He can only go up. He's a role model for sobriety.
Lujan loses patience with Bessent's refusal to answer questions
LUJAN: Are you the Secretary of Treasury?
BESSENT: ...
LUJAN: Yes is the answer. Scott, are you the Secretary of Treasury?
Jeffries: Todd Blanche is not qualified to be the deputy attorney general, the acting attorney general, and he certainly is not qualified to be the United States attorney general. The role of that particular position is to serve as the people's lawyer. Todd Blanche has been acting like Donald Trump's lawyer, which was his former position, but he has failed to transition in terms of behaving in the best interest of the American people.
You stay on that critical Biden beat, Alex. A grateful nation appreciates your being in top of all the gossip about a guy who hasn’t been president for almost a year.
Chief Justice John Roberts just got hit with Articles of Impeachment. He’s spent years shielding Trump’s corruption and gutting the Constitution.
Enough. Let's flood Congress with letters demanding they support his impeachment.

The U.S. Supreme Court erased all doubts about the sweeping nature of its recent voting rights jurisprudence Tuesday night with a shadow docket ruling that effectively reverses the Court’s own decision in the same matter just three years ago. https://t.co/xebgKgDzyb
Trump, Musk and Rubio slashed aid and scoffed that it was woke nonsense. Now they're seeing that it not only saved one life every 10 seconds but also protected us from diseases like Ebola. Their actions constituted a security failure as well as a moral one.
More broadly, their fecklessness contrasts with the courage and humanity of doctors and aid workers in Congo and Uganda, lacking adequate PPE but still risking the virus to care for fellow humans.
Trump, Musk and Rubio might learn something from them. https://t.co/kPKj7fqJFZ
Democrats should start buying radio slots in rural markets talking about screwworm and Argentinian beef imports. Both pain points on rural Ag communities where just informational advertising can move votes. Rural radio is cheap to play in and still has decent audience numbers
“You starve your public schools to feed your private schools and charter schools,” said one superintendent about the state’s efforts to grow charter schools. “Our foundation was set up for a free and appropriate education for all kids. All kids!”
