At some point, you will have to disappoint others to live a life that's honest to you. People pleasing will drain you, not save you. You have every right to set boundaries and choose your peace. You can disappoint people and still be a good person.
I simply refuse to accept this to be the best I’m capable of. I reject this as my reality. I shall do all I can with all I have to make all I want and dream of materialise in time. I simply cannot exist comfortably in this deputy reality that haunts me by the hour. I refuse it.
