بعضی روزها می‌گذرند، اما تمام نمی‌شوند. در حافظه یک ملت می‌مانند. با تصویرها، صداها و نام‌هایی که فراموش‌کردنشان، فراموش‌کردن بخشی از خود ماست. ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴ برای ایرانیان از همان روزهاست. روزهایی که پس از آن، خانواده‌های بسیاری میان پیکرهای سردخانه‌ها و سوله‌های پزشکی قانونی، به دنبال فرزندانشان گشتند. پدران و مادرانی عزیزانشان را به خاک سپردند و به خانه‌هایی بازگشتند که دیگر هیچ‌گاه همان خانه پیش از آن روزها نشد. اما بسیاری از همان خانواده‌ها، در اوج سوگ، به دادخواهی برخاستند. نام فرزندانشان را بلندتر فریاد زدند تا حقیقت همراه آنان به خاک سپرده نشود. ساخت مستند چهارقسمتی «This Is Our Story» زمانی آغاز شد که منوتو هنوز فعالیت می‌کرد. هزاران تصویر از آن روزها جمع‌آوری شده بود. بخشی را گزارشگران منوتو ارسال کرده بودند و بخشی از سوی شاهدانی که خود در میان آن وقایع ایستاده بودند، ثبت شده بود. اما پیش از آن‌که ساخت مستند به پایان برسد، فعالیت منوتو متوقف شد. تعدادی از ما احساس می‌کردیم دِینی داریم. به فرزندان ایران که جانشان را از دست دادند، به خانواده‌هایی که با جای خالی آنان ماندند، به زخمی‌ها و بازداشت‌شدگان، و به مردمی که ایستادند و سکوت نکردند. نمی‌توانستیم کار را نیمه‌تمام رها کنیم. با بیش از ده‌هزار ویدیوی راستی‌آزمایی‌شده زندگی کردیم. زمان و مکان تصاویر را بررسی کردیم و آن‌ها را قطعه‌به‌قطعه کنار هم گذاشتیم تا روایت آن روزها، تا آنجا که ممکن است، دقیق و وفادار به ترتیب وقایع روایت شود. شاید به همین دلیل است که این مستند راوی ندارد. راویانش خود مردم‌اند. صدای خیابان‌ها، پیام‌هایی که میان دود و گلوله ضبط شدند. فریادها و ترس‌ها. شجاعت و ایستادگی بچه‌های ایران. آدم‌هایی که شاید آن لحظه نمی‌دانستند دوربین‌هایشان تنها یک واقعه را ثبت نمی‌کند. آن‌ها تاریخ را، همان لحظه که اتفاق می‌افتاد، به حافظه می‌سپردند. همه این صداها، شعارها و پیام‌ها به انگلیسی ترجمه و زیرنویس شده‌اند تا جهان نیز داستان آن روزها را نه از زبان ما، بلکه از زبان خود مردم ایران بشنود. این مستند، ادای دِینی است به کسانی که دیگر میان ما نیستند. به کسانی که ماندند و جای خالی عزیزانشان را با خود حمل می‌کنند. و تلاشی است برای حفظ چیزهایی که گذر زمان نباید از ما بگیرد. نام‌ها. صداها. حقیقت. و حافظه ملت. مستند چهارقسمتی «This Is Our Story»، شنبه ۲۶ سپتامبر در کانال یوتیوب منوتو منتشر می‌شود.

A man whose son was killed during the January protests questioned President Masoud Pezeshkian’s assertion that protesters had been trained and armed by the US and Israel.
Erfan Abdipour’s father challenged Pezeshkian to publish any evidence that his son had received military training or carried a weapon. “My son was an architecture student and worked in a restaurant. That night he went to Aryashahr only to protest,” he said.
“Aryashahr has no barracks or military or security facility. What was my son supposed to conquer?”
Pezeshkian made the allegations in an interview with Fox News and during his address to the UN General Assembly.
