My random thought of the day: perhaps I've noticed this wrong but do they tend to have a lot of dark wood furniture in American houses, where as in the UK it tends to be more pale wood or pale coloured wood? This isn't for everyone just what I notice on the tv

@mutismnotes This is such a frustrating situation to be in! I don't know why there isn't an understanding. If you haven't already, it might be worth reaching out to a few therapists by email or something to see if they specialise in/understand SM, so you may get a better experience
