DAY 10
Ten days have passed since Forestry students began their peaceful protest, and today marks the second day of the chain hunger strike.
What began as a call for recognition and a formal resolution has now entered a more difficult phase. Students continue to remain present, steadfast and peaceful, despite the physical and emotional strain that accompanies this form of protest.
Every passing day carries a cost for students who should be in classrooms, preparing for their careers and building their future. Yet, the wait for a formal response continues.
We remain committed to peaceful and lawful means, with the hope that the concerned authorities will recognise the seriousness of the situation and respond through a formal written decision.

CHAIN HUNGER STRIKE
Tonight, at 10:30 PM, students commenced the chain hunger strike as part of the ongoing peaceful movement of Forestry students.
For students who have spent years studying, training and preparing to serve the forests and natural resources of J&K, this is not an easy step. It reflects the depth of their determination to seek a fair and formal resolution to the issues raised by Forestry students and graduates.
Their decision carries a simple message: when students remain unheard, they may choose peaceful sacrifice over silence.
The chain hunger strike will be conducted with dignity, discipline and complete commitment to peaceful and lawful means, while awaiting a formal written response from the concerned authorities.

Tonight, these candles were lit not only to brighten the path before us, but to remind us that our future must not be left in darkness.
With dignity, unity, and peaceful resolve, our students raised their voices through a candle march within the faculty premises, carrying their message forward.
Every flame represents a hope, every voice a future, and every step a call for fairness.

Forests need skilled technocrates not mere graduates. 48% area of jandk is under forests .Already dept has failed to meet the timber and other forest product demands of locals
This will continue until deserving candidates are given opportunity to serve in their respective field
Our sincere thanks to @MianAltafSahib for taking the time to meet our representatives and listening to our concerns.
We appreciate the positive response and look forward to constructive steps ahead.

A peaceful expression of concern from Forestry students seeking fair recognition of their professional qualification and equal consideration in recruitment.
The message is simple: opportunities should be created through fair policy, not narrowed without due consideration.
We remain committed to a respectful, lawful and constructive dialogue.
