- Gets Starmer out but without getting any blood on his sleeves.
- Sends all the key Starmerites to the back benches
- Then ends the Green surge. Finishes Polanski
- Next, ends the Reform lead and ensure Nigel fights a bin
- All in a week. Then goes straight on holiday
Two weeks ago today, I admitted that politics has not been working for you and that we all need to raise our game.
I meant it.
So here's just some of what we've announced in the first fortnight:
✅ New national drive to end rough sleeping
✅ Tax cut on energy bills
✅ £2 cap on bus fares in England
✅ Record numbers of NCA officers deployed to tackle gangs behind small boat crossings
✅ 20% cut in business rates for thousands of pubs, clubs, and music venues
✅ Number 10 North, driving power out of Westminster and into every postcode across the country
✅ 14-year-olds will have early access to technical education, skills training and connections with employers
✅ Plan to fix our broken social care system
✅ Investment in our nuclear deterrent, supporting 22,000 apprenticeships
✅ Local mayors will get a share of income tax
This is just the start. I know a fortnight does not fix a country.
But I said I would do things differently, and I am.
