Fancy protein products were created largely keeping Indian vegetarian society in mind.
We love to eat 5 times a day and need 5 different items in a meal; and ever since some of us accepted that protein is important, we have been hunting for protein in everything.
Hence protein dhokla, protein chips, protein dosa, protein atta and what not.
Indians are used to eating carbs and oils; and can’t eat high volume meals.
So it’s very difficult for them to eat 50g of protein or 200g of chicken or paneer along with 150-200g vegetables in one sitting.
So even a protein aware person ends up snacking on protein.
In a parallel world one can simply eat 400-500g of chicken, eggs and dairy and be done with protein for the day.

An unfortunate escalation occurred following a minor 10-20 minute delay of the Deputy Commissioner's (DC) convoy, which was inadvertently caused by Rashtriya Rifles (RR) civilian vehicles executing their official duties. In response to this minor traffic delay, the civil administration ordered the immediate seizure of the Army's vehicles.
Procedural Lapses by Local Police
The local police executed the order and transported the vehicles to the Police Station without adhering to the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) mandated for vehicle seizures.
Army's Attempt at Amicable Resolution
Seeking a professional and peaceful resolution, the Commanding Officer dispatched a Company Commander accompanied by a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) to the Police Station. The primary objective was to open a dialogue and secure the release of the vehicles amicably.
Unprofessional Conduct and Provocation
Upon the Army delegation's arrival, police personnel locked the station gates and explicitly ignored repeated requests from the Company Commander to engage in a constructive discussion. After exhausting diplomatic efforts to establish verbal contact, the gates were breached to initiate communication. The situation critically escalated when a police official cocked his weapon, issuing a direct and lethal threat against the Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and the QRT.
Defensive Escalation and Aftermath
Faced with an armed and immediate threat, Army personnel were compelled to respond defensively to disarm the personnel and secure the area, resulting in a physical altercation with the police staff, including the Station House Officer (SHO). Subsequently, the civil administration utilized its authority to hastily file an FIR against the Army personnel. The entirety of this incident stems from a severe breakdown in administrative cooperation and the local police's failure to engage in standard conflict-resolution protocols when approached amicably.

Yoga involves resistance, but it is not the same as resistance training.
Yoga is complementary.
Do yoga to improve flexibility, mobility, breathing and mental calm.
But you need strength training for metabolic health issues, insulin resistance, diabetes, higher body fat % and overall health.
