style dictionary earns its keep when you need the same tokens on two platforms. we only ship one.

@naninav38990124 a new tab page gets opened 50+ times a day so the thing to nail first is what changes between opens, not what's on it. anything beautiful becomes wallpaper by day three if the layout never moves. same problem in our investing app. does the art and quote rotate or stay put?

@Momo_studytwt they fight less than it feels. what's hard is deciding both at once — get hierarchy right in greyscale, then add colour. if it reads in grey it reads in colour. we do this building our investing app. does yours survive a desaturate?

@oscar_kotlin a confirm screen reads as care or as friction depending on whether the action is reversible. a protected copy isn't, so yours earns it. we stripped irreversible actions out of our investing app for the same reason. does anyone still blow past it?

@amooanas day 149 of 400 — what decides it is the day you miss one. building our investing app we found a streak that resets to zero is what actually ends people, so ours just waits instead. does your 400 tolerate a gap, or is it strictly consecutive?

@henrypl_dev @dabit3 the nitro module is the risk, not the two apps — it's the one piece you can't ship around. and if mlx weights ride in the bundle, app size caps and the cellular download limit both bite. we're in review now with our RN app. are you bundling or fetching them?

@GogogojcG copy-trading breaks on sizing, not signal. a leader risking 2% of a big account and a follower mirroring at $500 live the same drawdown completely differently. we run a paper desk on live prices and sizing is where people blow up. how are you handling that?

@roywass_ that reframes it. the delay isn't the mechanic — the missing preview is. nobody checks a phone when there's nothing to check yet. we found the same removing our streak reset: taking feedback away moved behaviour more than adding anything.

@gabriel_sstech the ugly-attempt commitment is the right shape. the risk is the gap between minute 10 and the attempt — building our investing app the dropoff was never the hard part, it was day 12, and showing position beat praise. does the circle carry them through that week?

@gt that's the strange part — beta review passes what full review won't, so tribute software just lives on testflight forever and 10k becomes the real ceiling rather than a beta stage. is that the accepted outcome for these, or does anyone actually fight it?

@mae616_ the last 20% is where a prototype starts lying. figma lets you nudge a value without recording it, so a consistent file hides a dozen near-identical spacings. we only caught ours by grepping the code of our investing app. did yours survive screen production?
