An interesting exercise.
Also helped brush up my speed reading skills
But the reason I’m sharing it is because embedded in it is a principle that applies well beyond speed reading: You see the ‘big picture’ only when you have a single focal point & eliminate distractions…

When James Cameron “decolonizes the pronunciation” of Avatar! ✨ The word means “descent,” reflecting the film’s theme of beings inhabiting Na’vi bodies, while the story itself echoes Hindu and Indian philosophy. But it explores universal themes: interconnectedness, harmony with nature, and the flow of life. From Eywa, the Na’vi life force, to Pandora’s sacred trees, Avatar3 weaves ancient wisdom into a modern cinematic epic. It’s about celebrating spirituality in all its forms and reminding us that life, connection, and respect for the planet are ideas we can all share.

The Reserve Bank of India recently released the Financial Stability Report. Think of this report as a detailed health check for India’s financial system. It looks at everything—from banks and households to market risks—helping us spot potential cracks before they grow into serious problems.
Here are three risks that could throw India’s economy off course. These might never happen, but staying informed and prepared is always better. Let’s break it down 🧵👇

About 30 years ago, I wrote the zip support that's still in Windows today.
It's slow, and here's why!
While the actual decompression is about the same speed as the alternatives, because it's integrated into the Windows shell, it operates through a drag drop (CF_FILECONTENTS) interface.
That means you need a SOURCE file and a destination file, but the source is in the archive. So, to get around that, I create a temporary copy in TMP and then do the shell copy operation from there to your real destination.
As a result, every file operation is done TWICE, slowing down significantly. Using "Extract to..." should be much faster as it bypasses that step.
And of course, it was only single threaded as was the style at the time!
There is 1 lie which unites all 8 billion humans across the world.

It’s “I have read the terms and conditions”.
Every month, we download mobile apps, fill up forms on random websites, sign up for insurance plans and say yes to the “Terms and conditions apply box” without reading it.
Some companies use the T&C to exploit customers often leading to data leaks, spam calls, and other frauds. The sad part is that we can do nothing about it. No one has time to read all these long and complex T&C.
That's why today I’m launching “Terms and Conditions Samjhega India”!
I will partner with the top industry experts and lawyers to simplify the terms and conditions and explain them to all Indians so we don’t fall for frauds.
Comment below which industry I should first focus on in this new campaign?

Huge win! Nestle has finally launched a Cerelac with no refined sugar.
For many years Nestle used to surprisingly put “added sugar” in their Cerelac in India, but no added sugar in Cerelac in Europe. I have repeatedly spoken against this for the past 1 year in many of my videos and in several news channels as well.
Children below 2 years should NOT have any form of added sugar according to US department of Health because if babies have added sugar, it causes obesity, diabetes and tooth decay in the long run.
I’m happy to see Nestle making this change, because the value of an Indian baby's life is no lesser than any foreign baby.
Let us all unite in this fight against misleading labels and ensure that every company has no option but to improve their products!
