The narcissist hates you with a burning, irrational kind of hatred. And it’s not because you did something wrong, or offensive, or mean, it’s because you have a strong sense of character and moral integrity.
And the narcissist can’t let anyone figure out where that hatred actually comes from because they know how dysfunctional and disturbing it looks.
So when people see this intense hatred they have for you and they ask the narcissist where it comes from, the narcissist has to make you out to be some kind of monster to validate the intense, irrational, seething hatred they have for a decent person who has done nothing wrong or offensive.
@jaderants Heavenly Father, I ask You to bring relief and ease Jade's severe leg pain and restore comfort. Surround her with tender help from people around her. Above all, anchor her in Jesus—fully forgiven, deeply loved, and not alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Malignant narcissists will accuse you of the very thing they are doing to you before you have a chance to accuse them of what they are actually doing.
They do that on purpose so when you accuse them of what they’re ACTUALLY doing, to witnesses you sound like you’re simply mirroring their accusation back at them.
While the rest of us are focusing on life and joy and building something beautiful with our lives, these weirdos are focused on shit like this, how to attack people and get away with it. And that’s all they think about.
And because of them, because of these weirdos, we have to stop thinking about our own personal lives and what we are trying to create and instead defend ourselves against their insanity and their abuse and their ridiculous obsession with attacking innocent people who have done nothing to them.
Malignant narcissists don’t just try to control people — they try to steal their work and identities. And it’s creepy as hell.
They’ll lock onto someone they’re envious of and obsessively study everything: their work, their words, their personality, their energy, social media, their past…
Then they start copying it.
When they feel they’ve absorbed enough of that person‘s energy, work, or identity, they begin to attack the person they’re copying, discredit them, and try to push them out of the picture — like they’re trying to replace the original with a knockoff
We’re not our rational selves when we’re suicidal.
I did some careless things as a child. I stopped caring so much about anything other than making the pain go away.
Go easy on yourself. 🫂
The healthy, compassionate person in a toxic narcissistic family is the one who gets scapegoated, smear campaigned, abused, labeled “crazy”, “disruptive” or “problematic”, and often ends up broken with CPTSD from years of Narcissistic Abuse possibly recovering from drug or alcohol use as self medication for the pain we experienced growing up being spiritually murdered by our own “family”. My heart goes out to all the scapegoats 💛 I see you
