a mac-os malware steals credentials to hijack telegram sessions, decrypt cryptocurrency wallets or trick users into entering their wallet recovery phrases through fake applications.

#macos malware is stealing #cryptocurrency wallets by hijacking #telegram sessions and harvesting wallet credentials. security firm slowmist discovered the #malware targets over 12 popular wallets including @exodus, @AtomicWallet, @ElectrumWallet, @Ledger live and @Trezor suite. it steals passwords from apple's keychain, browser cookies and wallet databases stored on infected mac computers.

attackers can then trick users by creating fake ledger and trezor apps to steal recovery phrases or decrypt wallets offline. even telegram's two-step verification won't stop this -the malware reuses existing sessions without needing your password. @SlowMist_Team urges users to immediately terminate telegram sessions, change passwords and transfer all assets to new wallets on clean devices. #VrReports
