A girl traveling with a valid 1AC ticket was allegedly forced to give up her own reserved seat

because a ticketless VIP claiming to be a "Judge" wanted it.

A guy had booked a Lower Berth for his sister because she suffers from drop foot,

a medical condition that makes climbing to an upper berth extremely difficult.

However, shortly after the train departed, a ticketless woman,

who allegedly claimed to be a Judge, entered the cabin accompanied by the Police and the TTE.

When the family explained the passenger's medical condition and refused to give up their reserved seat,

the woman allegedly threatened to have them removed from the train.

Even more shockingly,
the TTE and the Police allegedly sided with her,

forcing the medically vulnerable passenger to move to the Upper Berth despite her condition.

A complaint was also filed through RailMadad,

but according to the family, no timely assistance was provided.

the biggest question is this

Has VIP culture become more important

than the rights of passengers with valid reserved tickets and genuine medical needs ?

Do you think

In 3 decades of Govt Service, I have been assaulted around 15 times on duty, just like the drs in the video are. Every single time, I have given a complaint to the Dean,RMO & the local Inspector of Police in writing. How many goons hv been prosecuted- ZERO.

Why was this politician atleast arrested? Coz, the incident was caught on CCTV and the victim was both a female & Dalit Dr. Does anyone talk abt the male Dr, who was also assaulted? No.

Violence to settle things is the norm , rather than the exception in India- one of the most primitive/brutal societies in the world. Believe me, every single day there is an assault on a Tamilnadu Govt Dr, posted in this or that WhatsApp grp. How many r prosecuted? To my knowledge, none.
Once I was assaulted with bleeding injuries on duty at a local GH, walked up to the police outpost and with blood dripping from my body on the complaint paper, gave a written complaint addressed to the Police Inspector. Later, the case also came to court. Nurses & wardboys testified as witnesses. I identified the assailants & weapons in court.
The judge who sat in the case was an honest upright lady. I was then treating her father. I cd see that she was determined that justice be delivered. What happened? Ultimately the case was dismissed. The honest Inspector later met me & was fuming. "Sir, what can I do? In TN, everything is politicised. Our (honest) DC has received calls from 3 ministers. The APP has received 'calls'. All the witnesses who testified for u, later turned hostile. Their families have been threatened with death. Sometimes, I feel like resigning sir. There is no justice in Tamilnadu." Remember that was an Inspector of Police speaking.
If you are a medical student/intern/ resident, get your degrees & get the f*** out of this thankless country. I have a hundred more incidents to relate.

मानसून आते ही सड़कें क्यों बह जाती हैं? आज जवाब मिल गया!
हम और आप हर साल मानसून में रोते हैं। सरकार को कोसते हैं कि साहब, अभी चार महीने पहले ही तो सड़क बनी थी, पहली ही बारिश में इसके परखच्चे क्यों उड़ गए? कोई पुल चालू होने से पहले ही क्यों ढह जाता है?

आज जवाब आपके सामने है! जब किसी सड़क या पुल के बजट का आधा पैसा इन बड़े अधिकारियों के ��िला की ईंटों में, इनके फ्लैटों के मार्बल में और इनकी तिजोरियों के सोने में तब्दील हो जाएगा... तो सड़क पर कोलतार (डामर) की जगह सिर्फ धूल और मिट्टी ही तो बचेगी!

सड़कें और इमारतें भ्रष्टाचार के इसी दीमक के कारण ढहती हैं। हम गड्ढों में गाड़ियां उछालते हैं, अपनी रीढ़ की हड्डी तुड़वाते हैं, एक्सीडेंट में अपनों को खोते हैं... और ये साहब लोग हमारे ही खून-पसीने की कमाई से खरीदे गए ट्रिपलेक्स विला के सोफे पर बैठकर विदेशी शराब की चुस्कियां लेते हैं।

सुबह अलार्म बजने से पहले उठने वाले नौकरीपेशा भाई, धूप में दुकान का शटर उठाने वाले व्यापारी, और नमक-रोटी खाकर भी ईमानदारी से टैक्स भरने वाले आम नागरिक... जरा एक पल रुक कर सोचना।

तुम मार्च का महीना आते ही एक-एक रुपए का टैक्स बचाने के लिए सीए के चक्कर काटते हो। मेहनत की गाढ़ी कमाई का एक बड़ा हिस्सा चुपचाप सरकार की झोली में डाल देते हो ताकि देश तरक्की करे, अच्छी सड़कें मिलें, सुरक्षित इमारतें मिलें।

लेकिन सच तो ये है कि तुम्हारा टैक्स देश के विकास में नहीं, बल्कि इन मगरमच्छों के पेट के विकास में जा रहा है!

यह सिर्फ एक 'मोहन नाइक' की कहानी नहीं है। सिस्टम के गलियारों में न जाने कितने ऐसे 'नाइक' छिपे बैठे हैं जो जनता के पैसों को दीमक की तरह चाट रहे हैं। जब तक ऐसे भ्रष्ट अधिकारियों की पूरी संपत्ति जब्त कर के उसे सरेआम नीलाम नहीं किया जाएगा, और इन्हें ऐसी सजा नहीं मिलेगी जो आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए मिसाल बने, तब तक यह देश ऐसे ही गड्ढों में रेंगता रहेगा।

For over a decade, I have passed by #PattandurAgraharaLake in our neighbourhood (Whitefield). It used to be one of the spots for birdwatching. Yes!

Today, the lake survives only on Google Maps. All the trees have been cut down and moved away in trucks. It’s just a barren land now and a compound wall came up in no time.

The other side of the lake is an even bigger story. No one knows whether it has been encroached upon or whether it is still a lake!!

I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here.

Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual.

We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players.

There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one.

We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa.

We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage.

In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach.

We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world.

And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee.

For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us.

We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court.

All we are asking for is a fair treatment.

I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them.

The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment.

From where I am standing today, it does.
