Hey @NCAA. It sucks that you won’t allow an athlete in an emerging sport to accept prize money for the three gold medals she won representing the USA oversees this summer, yet you don’t even provide her and her team with a Championship event, or recognize her as an All-American.
Just check these numbers out. That's an insane increase from last year. Women's wrestling is the fastest growing youth sport for girls. Just another reason why we need more D1 schools to add it to their programs
Thanks for the research @jasonmbryant
I feel like nobody talks about how weird the few days after big tournaments are. You go from wrestling on some of the biggest stages in the world, to grocery shopping on an average Monday😂
22-2-22 this is the last palindrome we will experience in our lives. May this day bring unexpected joy and miracles to everyone, may God bring you blessings in twos! ✨✨✨
Hey @NJSIAA, I thought I’d let you know that Washington has been running the mens/womens wrestling tournaments together since 2008. It doesn’t “take away” from either division, but it exposes 17,000 people (who might be new to the sport) every year to women’s wrestling. Do better
"Champions don’t focus on the faults of others. They focus on what they can do better. They see their mistakes and defeats as opportunities for growth. As a result, they become stronger, wiser and better.
Think like a champion today!"
