Vehicle buyers pay huge upfront taxes, fees, and cesses. In return, they deserve the basic right to buy the exact fuel their vehicle engines were designed to run on.

If the govt wanted to "experiment" with E20 fuel, they should have done it responsibly by either buying a sample fleet of second-hand cars to test in a controlled settings or invite willing citizens to opt-in using subsidized fuel.

Forcing a mandatory policy onto everyone first and checking if it damages their engines later is outrageous. Treating the entire public as involuntary test subjects is a massive overreach.

I spoke to Retired Subedar Shyam Kishor Agnihotri - father of Major Gaurav Agnihotri, Ex-Husband of Praneeta, daughter of Retired Judge Gyanendra Sharma who has been in news for grand welcome of his daughter post divorce

This is what Shyam Kishore Ji told me - Our family has been subjected to immense ridicule by this social media spectacle. We are in tears listening to the lies being spread against us. It was Praneeta and her family who dominated us throughout this marriage. We treated her like a daughter but they had some different plans.

This marriage was totally without dowry & differences started from the day of marriage itself. They wanted everything their way. Within a year of marriage they filed a false case against all of us and Gyanendra Sharma used to threaten all of us of sending us behind bars. They got a fake medical certificate made in 25000 rupees.

My son then wrote to Chief Justice of Uttarakhand after which an inquiry was initiated and when it was found that Mr. Sharma has misused his powers, he was asked to either resign or settle this matter. When he saw things are going against him Praneeta came back.

Whenever we used to visit our son, she fought with us and did not want us around. I still adjusted with everything thinking of my son's future.

Amidst all this, Praneeta's brother was hospitalised after an accident. My son stayed in the hospital for days taking care of him but these people have no regard. He expired later.

Last year, Praneeta gave birth to a son. We were all so happy. But the day our grandson was born, Praneeta's mother started claiming her son has come back. We could hardly be with our grandson. Then one day they declared that they're doing mundan of the child and we complained that it is our right to get that done at his paternal family. They started fighting and immediately asked for Divorce. My son did not want a divorce but we were also tired. So we agreed.

They're claiming they haven't taken maintenance or alimony. I transferred 3 bighas of my land in my daughter-in-law's name. They have kept car of my son. Our jewellery worth 55-60 lacs is with her. We never refused to give maintenance.

They have taken divorce because they don't want us to have any presence in the life of our grandson. They have cut us off completely. My son was told to agree for divorce forgetting even visitation rights.

We agreed to their demands thinking if this brings peace then let it be - but we were wrong to have trusted them. They have violated the consent terms of the mutual consent divorce and my family is being shamed all over India now. My wife can't stop crying because of this humiliation. My son doesn't know how to deal with his photos and his unit details being spread all over social media.

Some of us were hoping that this govt would bring reforms to prevent the misuse of the SC/ST Atrocities Act. Lol, they have gone a hundred times harsher by bringing in the so-called UGC equity regulations.

It is the BJP equivalent of Congress’s communal violence bill. It's meant to prevent caste-based discrimination on university campuses, in which only SC, ST, OBCs, and women can be victims. If a reserved-category student calls a general-category student a casteist slur, it is not an offence. A general-category person can only and only be a culprit, never a victim.

The scope for misuse is obvious and dangerous. Personal grudges, relationship rejection, academic failure, everything can be weaponised. Proof is optional. False complaints carry no consequences. And even after due process, the complainant can still claim that they didn’t get justice because of their caste and turn out to be an even bigger victim.

The most baffling part is that universities in India have functioned for decades without this intrusive policing. With rare exceptions, students across castes study together, socialise freely, and coexist without friction. There was no mass demand, no nationwide student movement, no protests asking for this law. So why impose it? When something is largely working, reckless overregulation doesn’t fix problems; it creates new ones.

Why is your government doing this @narendramodi? Please take this back.

CCTV footage shows BJP MLA Rajeev Singh's goon assaulting Raj Prakash, who didn’t vacate his seat for the MLA.

The irony: the victim hasn’t filed any complaint, probably out of fear or intimidation, but the MLA has filed one against him.

According to the complaint: Raj Prakash was sitting “objectionably.” The MLA approached and made a "vinamrapoorna aagrah" to sit properly. Raj Prakash got angry and began abusing him. The MLA, being a sajjan purush, ignored it and returned to his seat.

Later in Jhansi, the MLA’s 6-7 sahyogis came for a "shishtachar bhent" with the MLA. Seeing them, Raj Prakash got enraged again, abused them too, and attacked them, leading to a scuffle that injured both sides.

No joke or exaggeration. This is the exact complaint made by the MLA. Old, frail, unfit Raj Prakash was able to take on 6–7 sahyogis of the MLA because he had learned Judo, Jiu-jitsu, and Aikido from YouTube while the train passed between Babina and Jhansi.

BJP MLA from Babina (right), Rajeev Singh, politely ordered him to get up and shift to seat no. 8. This monster brutally refused.

Then, the helpless MLA called his law-abiding goons, who boarded the train at Jhansi and respectfully assaulted him, gently fracturing his nose in the process.

People like Raj Prakash are a blot on civilised society. Despite knowing that MLAs sacrifice everything, their honesty, integrity, politeness, and humility, to serve us, and the least we can do for them is to comfort them, he didn’t.

Hope Raj Prakash rots in jail.

Even in 2025, a sadakchhap MLA can summon his goons into one of India’s most premium trains and coaches, assault you in full public view, fracture your nose, simply because you refused to give up your window seat, and still face no accountability.

I know nothing will happen to him. Even if the victim gathers the courage to file an FIR, the MLA will either coax or threaten him into a compromise.

Rajeev Singh isn’t an exception, he’s the norm. The majority of MLAs across the country are power-drunk, low-IQ, uncouth goons who won’t hesitate to hurt you the moment you bruise their ego.
