If you're dining indoors right now or shopping maskless, you are going to get Covid. The wastewater does not lie and it's everywhere. You might not have symptoms but that won't make it less bad for your body. It's not too late to put on a mask and avoid another infection.
Reminder that adults contract actual influenza, on average, once every 7 years and colds 1-3 times per year. So having Covid 5+ times in 4.5 years is a lot to get an acute illness that knocks you out for days. Even without accounting for sequelae, this doesn’t seem sustainable
got my baby his updated COVID shot today and phew, @DrDadSays we literally wouldn’t be without you and your practice. THANK YOU for continuing to work tirelessly to get those shots in arms. we appreciate you guys so much (and for vaccinating non-patients!!!)
“we conclude that wearing masks, wearing higher quality masks (respirators), and mask mandates generally reduced SARS-CoV-2 transmission in these study populations.”https://t.co/uDDqBZkmMV
“Nobody is acknowledging the delay in pediatric [covid] vaccines, nobody is explaining it, nobody is giving updated timelines,” says @drdadsays, a Seattle-area pediatrician.
@DrDadSays@ShantelSherwood In fifth grade I had a teacher that assigned SOO much homework (probably 2-4hrs/day worth depending). My dad actually went to her and told it was ridiculous and he wouldn’t be making me do it.
it's been 2 weeks since FDA approval of the new covid vaccine and we still have no pediatric stock of Moderna. our order was 12+ was approved but not shipped, and our order of <12 hasn't even been approved yet.
The US has messed up its COVID booster rollout. People are cancelling vaccine appointments or are wrongfully being charged because of insurance issues. This is unacceptable. Vaccines should be free regardless of your insurance status. https://t.co/0QNo9SibN0
@DrDadSays Came back to Twitter just to see these updates from you. This is so disheartening. We appreciate all you and your office does to vax our babies. Hoping for good news soon 😭
ℹ️ DID YOU KNOW? A poorly ventilated classroom has similar effects on a child’s ability to concentrate as skipping breakfast.
Clean indoor air doesn’t just limit the spread of COVID-19 and other bugs, it’s good for growing brains.

Here I thought the danger would be going indoors with family. But nope. A mere fleeting moment with a stranger while we tried to have a family day did us in.
Cool.
I can tell you every single thing we did the last week. We didn’t go indoors with anyone. We skipped Christmas indoors. Visited outside with family, all masked. My son went to the grocery store once, for 5 minutes on a quiet morning, masked.
He’s sick right now.
Please stop bringing your sick selves and kids in public.
We could count the amount of times we’ve gone indoors with family in the last three years.
I’m laughing about this when he’s not having trouble breathing while sleeping.
