@SenSanders And don't give me some crap about it wouldn't be profitable enough for investors. Thats relative to the market. Should no company be able to create inflated profits at the expense of its worker, m*fockers would settle. They sure as shit aint gonna sit around and go broke
@SenSanders Here's an idea. Forget laws. Reform the NYSE. Redefine what a successful business is. For example, how can a company be successful to the tune of millions or billions USD, and not be able to afford to pay their employees enough to hire a babysitter so they don't miss work?
@Juanfer31@SenSanders Yet in pa oil companies pay nothing. Upmc, states #1 or 2 highest employer pay nothing. Mayor Peduto campaigned on making them pay, and changed his tune. Gov wolf campaigned on making the oil company pay taxes to fund education in PA. Fail. Swears to do the same thing w/rec Mary
@Carnavs @anchorwings @SenSanders Maybe its the canned tuna you budgeted for bc you didn't have a 6 million dollar reconstructive surgery on your c1 c2 vertebrae, or a hip replacement, maybe you arent caring for a parent with dementia. Consider these possibilities and more while you enjoy your tuna melt.
@ben_made_new@SenSanders Are you dense? Tax cuts for the rich = less money in circulation because the rich already have more money then they need. Tax breaks for the poor = a cumulative effect of pumping money into the economy, the same day they get the check. Because they can't afford their bills as is.
@PghPolice
Thank you to the PghPolice for the way their officer so calmly approached my father and i about a complaint.
The officer bgan by saying "these things are all a matter of perspective." I want to reciprocate that respect and understanding back to the Pittsburgh Police.
