@HowtoADHD - I body double to focus typically.
- crafts, hobbies, and PowerPoints (I’m a kinder teacher so Powerpoints need to be extra engaging)
- I focus best between 4PM-2AM
-I take a nap if I can’t focus (it’s not always an intentional nap though 😅)

@k8meyrick It was awful, especially because that person approved the project, we presented it, and they waited until after we graduated to have a problem with it. I had to finish on my cellphone because I was in Texas at the time 🙃🙄 (hello! I’m awesome! Hope you are too!)
@k8meyrick Absolutely! It’s always important to voice concerns. I was so upset when I didn’t for a math teacher there who made me and a partner finish a project after graduating and threatened our grade. If you don’t speak, no one will know 🤷🏽♀️
ADHD: I'm so bORED why can't we DO something
Me: Like what
ADHD: Something that doesn't require any effort whatsoever. So nothing, but something.

I teach preschool. The morning after my last lockdown drill, a FOUR YEAR OLD asked me, "What happens if we aren't quiet enough and the bad guy gets us?"
They made this happen when they allowed this violence to go unchecked. They did this to MY kids and I will never forgive them.
I’m not sure where this “living in fear” garbage came from but I’m sick and tired of it. Following safety precautions is not fear. Disregarding them is not courage. Period.
