With the new lockdown starting, we expect that the situation for many PhD students will remain tense and in many ways uncertain. According to the our survey from the end of last year, PhDs are experiencing multiple negative consequence of this pandemic on their careers. #dkpol
At least 62% of PhD students at Health had their projects delayed. At the same time, the absolute majority (58%) responded that they have no sufficient funds to accommodate an extension or are in doubt whether or not the extension funding will be available to them (23%). #dkpol
68% of the respondents estimated that they are delayed in their PhD project for more than 3 months. The comments we received deliver the same message: "And I will probably be delayed more or have to change my phd projects due to a busy department during COVID". #dkpol#dkmedier
