❗️Today I want to sincerely thank the Czech people for everything they have done for Ukrainians since the start of the full-scale war. Your support has been swift, practical and truly substantial — Ukrainians will remember it.

Czechia was among the first to transfer T-72 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, RM-70 multiple rocket launchers, Dana self-propelled howitzers and helicopters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, Prague became the coordinator of the international ammunition initiative: thanks to it, millions of large-calibre artillery shells reached Ukraine and helped reduce the enemy’s firepower advantage. Czechia also took in hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees — one of the highest shares relative to population in the EU — and provided humanitarian aid both as a state and through public fundraisers, including the “Gift for Putin” initiative.

Ocenění jsem společně s @josef_stary převzal 28. září na Velvyslanectví České republiky 🇨🇿 v Kyjevě 🇺🇦 z rukou generála Radka Hasaly, náčelníka Vojenské kanceláře prezidenta republiky @prezidentpavel .

Že se tak stalo právě na Den české státnosti, v den spojený také se vznikem československých legií, pro mě 🪖 znamená o to víc 🫡.

Za tuto čest chci Vojenské kanceláři prezidenta republiky a generálu Hasalovi upřímně poděkovat. Velmi si vážím toho, že naše dlouhodobá práce pro napadenou Ukrajinu 🇺🇦 a zároveň pro bezpečnost České republiky 🇨🇿 je takto vnímána a oceněna.

Přestože je na kříži moje jméno, nevnímám jej jako ocenění pouze své práce. Patří všem lidem z @Team4Ukraine1, kteří už roky obětují svůj čas, pohodlí, peníze a často podstupují i nemalé riziko, aby naše práce měla skutečný dopad. Patří také všem našim podporovatelům, partnerům a dárcům, bez kterých bychom nikdy nedokázali to, co jsme společně dokázali.

Jsem na náš tým nesmírně hrdý. ❤️

Záslužný kříž pro mě není tečkou ani odměnou za něco dokončeného. Je především závazkem pokračovat.

Protože pomoc Ukrajině a obrana její svobody je zároveň investicí do bezpečnosti naší vlastní země 🇨🇿.

August Hanning was head of Germany’s foreign intelligence service under Gerhard Schröder during the period in which Berlin got hooked on Russian energy, with Hanning backing Nord Stream 1.

Days after Russia launched its full scale invasion of Ukraine, Hanning publicly argued Western arms deliveries wouldn’t make much difference and said he hoped “normal relations” with Russia could be restored soon.

After the Nord Stream explosion, he quickly and baselessly made accusations about Polish and Ukrainian responsibility, and suggested Germany should seek compensation from Poland and Ukraine.

Hanning has also previously smeared Latvia.

He joined the supervisory council of Norvik Banka, later PNB Banka, which subsequently collapsed. Its insolvency administrator later brought a €32 million damages claim against former board and supervisory council members, including Hanning.

During the process, Hanning publicly made sweeping allegations of corruption about Latvian officials and institutions. In later arbitration proceedings, an international tribunal said he made unsubstantiated claims.

He has today been arrested on suspicion of espionage, attempted treason and obtaining state secrets.

Although DITA, thanks to its high degree of automation, requires only two crew members to operate fully, or possibly a third who sits in the turret, in the reality of the current Ukraine-Russia war, howitzers are highly vulnerable to drones and operate from hidden and protected dugouts, from which they emerge only to conduct their firing missions, while several other soldiers with weapons guard the surroundings, ready to shoot down any approaching enemy drone that might attempt to strike the howitzer.

At the same time, artillery units today work closely with their own drones, which conduct reconnaissance, target identification and confirmation, and subsequent fire correction and assessment for the howitzer crews. Their own strike drones can help finish the job the howitzer started.

In Lithuania, border guards detained two guys in a car with "spoiled" license plates. But the most interesting thing was nearby

About 400 meters away, border guards discovered the remains of a hot air balloon and equipment for transporting smuggled cigarettes. Another such set was found 600 meters away.

The young men, aged 19 and 25, were detained by border guards in the Panevezys district of Lithuania. They were driving an Audi Q7 with foreign Lithuanian license plates, and the VIN of the car was destroyed.

According to border guards, the hot air balloon could have arrived from Belarus. The investigation is now investigating whether the detainees are involved in smuggling.

I could also write, "the whole world watched this live," but we can see that news from Ukraine has long been out of focus.

There are many reasons for this. It is not only people's "fatigue" from the war, but also the fact that social networks, particularly X, have started artificially suppressing the reach (pessimizing) of posts on military and political topics, especially regarding Russia's war against Ukraine.

Furthermore, Russia has recently radically transformed its propaganda and information warfare. From straightforward propaganda, the Kremlin has moved to the large-scale use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and agent networks. Their primary role today is to constantly blur the boundaries of truth as much as possible, create artificial information noise, and systematically carry out "mass reporting" so that automated safety algorithms block accounts preemptively or impose shadow bans.

That is why it is so important to keep writing, reading, and sharing news about Ukraine.

And that is why I sincerely thank everyone - journalists, politicians, OSINT researchers, bloggers, photographers, and volunteers - who continue to document Russia’s war crimes, conduct investigations and analysis, and report the truth.

Ukrajina pár dní nazpět poprvé oficiálně potvrdila bojové nasazení letounu včasného varování ASC 890 🇺🇦🇸🇪

Tedy nasazení letounu Saab 340 AEW&C s radarem Erieye. Do vzduchu se dle všeho dostal už v březnu 2026. Zároveň je to velice cenný cíl z pohledu Rusů. Ukrajině se totiž už dříve podařilo zničit dva ruské letouny včasného varování A-50, teď má vlastní obdobu.

Erieye je elektronicky řízená (AESA) anténa, která pracuje v S-pásmu (frekvenčním rozsahu 2–4 GHz, běžném u přehledových radarů, protože dobře vyvažuje dosah a rozlišení) bez rotující antény a je umístěna nad trupem. Podle ukrajinského ministerstva obrany dokáže sledovat najednou stovky vzdušných i námořních cílů na stovky kilometrů. Typickým cílem jsou stíhací bombardéry Su-34, stíhačky Su-35 a MiG-31, střely Ch-101 a Kalibr i drony. Informace spolehlivě odesílá pro F-16 a Mirage 2000, od roku 2027 i Gripenům.

Švédsko oba stroje přislíbilo už v květnu 2024 jako součást vojenské pomoci v hodnotě 13,3 mld. švédských korun (asi 1,16 mld. eur). Balíček tehdy obsahoval i další techniku a munici, ne jen letadla samotná.

Od začátku ruské agrese proti Ukrajině zastupuju pro bono české občany, kteří bojují v řadách ukrajinské armády a po návratu jsou v Česku vyšetřováni policií pro přečin služby v cizích ozbrojených silách.

Dosud jsem takto ubránil 8 českých občanů (jeden bohužel v bojích zemřel). Včera bylo zastaveno trestní stíhání posledního z těch, které ještě zastupuju.
Rozhodnutí pana státního zástupce mě potěšilo i samotným textem, kdy alespoň o jeho část se chci se svolením klienta podělit s Vámi.

Státní zástupce rozhodl, že služba v Ukrajinské armádě není trestným činem a napsal mimo jiné toto.

„Důležitou roli při zvažování použití principu ultima ratio pak hraje také celkový kontext. Obviněný jako občan ČR nevstoupil do armády nějakého vzdáleného státu, ale do armády země vzdálené pouhých několik hodin jízdy automobilem či autobusem. Jedná se o zemi, která byla brutálně napadena mnohem větší a vojensky silnější sousední zemí, která podobný postup využila již v minulosti (okupace části území Gruzie v roce 2008, ale pochopitelně zejména vojenské akce od roku 2014 prováděné na mezinárodně uznávaném území Ukrajiny, tj. okupace Krymu a ustavení tzv. lidových republik v Doněcké a Luhanské oblasti). Je tak zřejmé, že se ze strany Ruska nejedná o jednorázové řešení sporů o území, ale o standardní modus operandi současného ruského vládnoucího režimu.“

Norwegian researchers drove a Chinese EV into a mine to cut it off from the world. It still tried to call home.

The project is called Project Lion Cage. Tor Indstøy, a Telenor security executive, monitored his own NIO ES8 SUV for years. About 90% of the connections he logged went to Chinese servers, even though NIO tells European customers their data is processed in Europe.

The car carries cameras, microphones, location tracking and always-on modems. Most traffic is encrypted, so researchers could see where it went, not what it held. That is the gap. China's National Intelligence Law requires companies to assist state intelligence work. Nobody has proven spying. The question is who can be forced to hand over the feed.

A separate test by Oslo transit operator Ruter found the Chinese Yutong bus could be reached by its maker through software updates, including battery and power systems. Yutong says it cannot control steering or brakes.

Countries buying cheap Chinese EVs should expect to ask what else comes with the price.

That's how "Phantom," an F-16 wing commander with @KpsZSU, puts it. Every night, our pilots take on Russian drones and cruise missiles over Ukrainian cities. On some missions, with air-to-air missiles in short supply, they finish the job with the onboard cannon.

The jets are here. The skill is here. What we need now is more AIM-9s or AIM-120s and Patriot missiles.

💥🌊BREAKING: The first naval battle in history between two unmanned surface vessels has taken place in the Black Sea.

A Ukrainian Navy Sargan 3000 USV, armed with a 12.7 mm Protector RWS, engaged and destroyed a Russian naval drone.

The engagement marks the first known combat between two uncrewed naval vessels at sea.

@hygpraha @ASCOPACZ Blahopřeji, komunikace byla vidět v Praze všude. A jaké bylo vyhodnocení její efektivity, např. v počtech nově očkovaných? Já jsem očkování proti hepatitidě A vzdal po několika měsících nedostupnosti vakcín. Doporučuji příště spojit komunikaci se snadno dostupnou prevencí.
