"Under Communism, everyone has a job". This is absolutely true.
Here's what else was true.
1) you were ASSIGNED your job AND the region for that job by the state (i.e., a bureaucraft). You were required to stay in your job at least 3 years.
2) After 3 years, if you wanted to switch jobs, you needed the approval of both your labor board AND your employer. If you switched too often (for example: every 3 years), there were legal penalties, up to imprisonment.
3) promotions were based on party membership, loyalty, and sucking up. I'ved talked to a lot of former Soviet citizens, and zero of them thought merit was of use. Also many nice jobs were only for party members.
4) Wages were pretty even across the board. A factory worker, engineer, and factory manager had similar salaries, so it was indeed egalitarian, but didn't have a lot of incentive. The higher-rank workers did get perks to make up for it. They might get a vacation dacha on the Black Sea. Or a "company" car with a chaffeur. That sort of thing. The higher-ups had better stuff.
5) you needed a passport to travel inside your own country . You couldn't just move to Leningrad and look for work. Or even go on vacation without permission.
6) you had a union. It was state-controlled. You could not go on strike. If you criticized your factory manager, you would be arrested. Yay unions.
If you look at the above, they are an evil capitalist's wet dream. Think of a movie with a foul imaginary super-corporation so beloved of science fiction movies. - they would support every one of those initiatives.
Becuase that's what the Soviet Union was - the biggest, most evil corporation that ever existed.
26 year certified Information Technology professional here. There is no absolutely no shortage of tech talent among United States citizens. Even if 120,000 or even 500,000 Work Visas in Tech are revoked today at this moment; we have enough U.S. citizens to take these jobs. Any holes can be filled. The vast majority are industry standard roles.
Thomas Jefferson explained thoroughly why he owned slaves still despite being anti slavery. The consistent position he held throughout his entire life was that blacks were so different from whites as a race that we couldn’t share a government without being horrifically dysfunctional, that governments ought to be limited to just one distinct people, and that their inclusion as equal citizens would cause incredible problems and dysfunctions.
This is why his position on Abolition was Emancipation AND Deportation, which he held consistently till the day he died as the correct solution to the issue at hand. That they should be free but neither should we ever share a government. You can read it all in Notes on the State of Virginia. Thomas Jefferson was incredibly consistent in his beliefs.
Applied for a warehouse job. Three rounds of interviews, a skills assessment, a background check, a drug test.
Six weeks. Then a form email.
I'm 34. No record. No gaps. Two prior warehouse jobs on the resume.
Meanwhile every headline says employers are "desperate for workers" and can't find anyone.
So which is it.
Because from where I'm standing, the jobs that are supposedly begging to be filled are somehow still unfilled after I applied, interviewed three times, and got ghosted.
Either the labor shortage is fake, or the hiring process itself is the thing that's broken.
Nobody in charge wants to say which.
Our elites spent decades conditioning Americans to instinctively believe that being an advocate for White people is repulsive.
Reversing that programming is a monumental task. But it MUST be done. If you have White children, it is your DUTY to do so.
If your position is that we can only deport illegal immigrants *after* they’ve committed another crime here, you are implicitly saying that we don’t have a border…
Anyone can come illegally. Any number.
Anyone can overstay a visa.
We’re not a nation. Sovereignty gone.
Very strange that Gainwell technologies is asking applicants for these test engineer jobs in Irving Texas to apply to their "international recruiting" team.
Every time we look at Texas job ads there are endless body shops like this running the PERM scam!
The thing is, whether or not someone is 'psychotic' when they murder somebody, they need to be locked up for life... At minimum.
Insane? Evil? Doesn't matter. They can't be in society.
🚨 THIS IS NO LONGER JUST ABOUT STAFFING COMPANIES.
For years, much of the criticism surrounding H-1B and foreign-worker programs has focused on outsourcing and staffing firms.
Now the head of DOJ’s Civil Rights Division is pointing somewhere much bigger:
America’s largest public tech companies.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon says discrimination against American workers involving foreign-worker programs isn’t isolated.
She says it “permeates American industry & academia.”
And then she said this:
“The biggest violators are our biggest public tech companies.”
This comes as DOJ officials are publicly raising concerns involving:
H-1B
Cap-exempt H-1B
PERM
OPT
J-1
And Dhillon says DOJ, DOL and EEOC are “all on the case.”
That’s a major shift in this conversation.
This isn’t just about whether a staffing company somewhere abused H-1B.
It’s about whether some of America’s largest and most sophisticated employers have built hiring systems that disadvantage American workers.
Dhillon hasn’t named the companies, and these are allegations, not findings of wrongdoing.
But now there’s one enormous question:
Which companies is DOJ looking at and what penalties will arise?

People are asking how I predict things. It’s very simple: You read history, and then you assume people are the same and historical events can still happen.
