Amnesty UK was already smearing feminists as 'anti-rights' back in May, according to @thetimes. It appears that, far from being an accidental slip up or an editorial error, the latest defamatory report accurately represents Amnesty UK's deep-seated hostility to all organisations that believe sex is real and important in contexts such as same sex attraction and healing after sexual violence and trauma.

Those who've been defamed are owed an explanation of why Amnesty claimed to have withdrawn the report because of its 'language' when, per @thetimes article, it had already expressed exactly the same beliefs, in the same language, months previously.

Many of the organisations Amnesty has attacked are grassroots campaigners with a tiny fraction of a gigantic, well-funded international NGO's resources. The defamatory report has already had serious consequences for a service supporting women at the most vulnerable time of their lives, as detailed by Beira's Place lawyers in the legal letter sent two days ago. The withdrawing of the report cannot undo the harm it has already done and is continuing to do.

If Amnesty is under the illusion that the women's, children's and gay rights organisations it has attacked will be unwilling to go to court, they have made yet another massive error of judgement. They underestimate both the solidarity that exists between the targeted organisations and my willingness to support legal action, not just on behalf of Beira's Place, but for all women's and LGB organisations falsely branded 'anti-rights.'

Welches Beispiel ist das als Vertreter der Legislativen: Gesetze werden gemacht, aber sie gelten nicht für uns?

Frauen als Brutkästen benutzen ist ok, solange man es im Ausland macht und nicht auf deutschem Boden?
Leihmutterschaft ist innerhalb der EU auf eine Stufe mit Menschenhandel und organisierter Kriminalität gestellt worden, gerade erst verurteilte die UN-Berichterstatterin für Gewalt gegen Frauen und Kinder die globale Praxis als Ausbeutung von Frauen und Handel von Kindern.

Es ist ja nicht gerade gut bestellt mit der Glaubwürdigkeit der CDU. Aber wenn es hier wieder das gleiche betretene Schweigen gibt wie nach dem "Baby-Glück" des Kollegen Streeck, dann bitte streicht das C aus dem Parteinamen und lasst es einfach.

Wassersparen: Die Stadt München hat gestern eine Allgemeinverfügung zum Wassersparen erlassen (s.u.). Die angegebene Rechtsgrundlage (§§ 13, 100 WHG) ist dafür kaum tragfähig, da viel zu unbestimmt. Bußgeldbewehrte Wassersparpflichten sind grundrechtsrelevante Verteilungs- und Priorisierungsentscheidungen. Deren Regelung ist nach dem Grundsatz vom Vorbehalt des Gesetzes Aufgabe des Gesetzgebers und darf nicht einfach der Exekutive überlassen werden. Der Gesetzgeber muss Verteilungs- und Prioisierungskriterien selbst vorgeben. Das ist bislang nicht erfolgt.

Enteignungen - ein neuer hype? Das Enteignungsrecht spielt in der Rechtswissenschaft kaum eine grundsätzliche Rolle. Klar, die Kommentierungen zu Art. 14 III GG sind gewichtig. Aber das Thema als solches ist ein Nischengebiet geblieben. Das liegt daran, dass der Staat mit diesem Instrument bislang sorgsam umgegangen ist. Die politische Diskussion hat sich allerdings fundamental geändert. Enteignung und gar Sozialisierung von Eigentum stehen wieder auf der Agenda. Und viele finden das supi, wegen "Solidarität und Gerechtigkeit und so". Eine bedenkliche Entwicklung!

A backlog is a collection of work items that you do not have the capacity to build. (If you did have the capacity, you'd just build it.) It's a black hole where work goes to die. The only way to alleviate that logjam is to increase capacity, either by adding people (usually doesn't work) or by improving how you do the work (most companies won't). Consequently, the backlog always grows over time, filling with work that will never be done.

AI might fall under the "improve" category, but in practice, it doesn't seem to. My theory is that this is Parkinson's Law in action—work expands to fill all available capacity. If you add AI to the mix, the backlog grows faster than the amount of work removed. I've also seen people use AI for work not specified on the backlog at all—they just get carried away by the "productivity," adding unspecified feature after unspecified feature as they work. If you define "productivity" as removing backlog items, the AI gets you nowhere.

My solution is to get rid of the backlog altogether. Just throw it out. All of it. Now. If it's important, it will come back.

Then breathe a sigh of relief.

Then create, not a backlog, but a fixed-size input queue for Engineering. The size is just large enough so that, when you need something to do, there's something to do. A couple of weeks' work is plenty. Then chisel that size onto stone tablets and guard it zealously. Nothing goes on unless something comes off. Period. (This is called a work-in-progress, or WIP, limit.)

Nobody, not even the CEO, can violate the size limit. If some piece of do-it-last-week-or-the-sky-will-fall work comes along, you need to remove a queue item to make space. A discussion with whoever inserted that item will ensue. That's a good thing. The queue must hold the most valuable (to users/customers) work, and if everything is "most valuable," nothing is. The size limit guarantees high value.

I was obviously brought into the gender ideology fight because of women’s rights & women only spaces, but I genuinely believe that this is an issue that impacts everyone. Women’s rights are the canary in the coal mine and should have been listened to 20+ years ago.

Gender ideology attacks human beings at one of our most basic instincts: sex recognition. An evolutionary skill that is so instinctual, we don’t even realize the moment we’re acknowledging biological sex in every interaction we ever have, whether it matters or not. But it’s there.

Everyone should have the right to acknowledge a man is a man, a woman is a woman, a boy is a boy, a girl is a girl, and it’s impossible to change or be neither.

If the state can force you to accept men as women, they can force you to accept anything. Don’t let them.
