Tucker was a registered Democrat from 2006-2020. He claims now that this is so he could throw a monkey wrench into elections - by voting for progressives and skewing the results.
In closed Primaries, you must be registered with a party to vote in that party's primary. Example: If you're registered Republican, you cannot vote in the Democratic primary, and vice versa.
The problem is that he lived in the District of Columbia, where he lived and worked for many years. That has a closed primary.
He couldn't have voted for a different party in the primaries in DC.
So, his reasoning is flawed on many levels.
