Be clear with your intentions and dominate your space, that way others can read what you are planning to do.
I think the rider doesn’t know the area, saw the cycle marking (which is the route for a crossing from one side of the road to the other) and went
What on earth are these silly cyclists doing?
Playing tag cycling? Around unsuspecting pedestrians?
Completely the wrong image.
Like a car advert depicting driving fast in a city. https://t.co/GUHbVvE7jX
Interval training is a good way to increase your fitness. And with that comes the ability to sustain speed for longer.
Note the rider here isn’t going that fast, often slowed down by traffic.
Silly cyclist gets pulled over by the cops for what is assumed various offences.
Does the filming road user go through the red light too? https://t.co/MDcboZLbIh
Don't be a Silly Cyclist. React to @SillyMotorists by braking, not holding your hands up, and being unable to avoid a collision.

@owl_ruth I was 25 miles deep into a commute at that point, and I think going 22mph. So no small effort. He certainly had to put down a bit to catch up
Also silly for their cornering technique.
It luckily gave me a clue right away they were about do something silly.
However, you should really corner whilst seated and with your outside foot pointing down.
This gives you the most control and avoids pedal strike if you are leaning
@anneramsey740 @adamstan91 Spot on. a little thought about their upcoming turn and they could have drafted behind me and then peeled off.
Save a bit of energy, doesn't impact me.
