To be clear, the backlogged community stands behind @SenMikeLee 100%.

Senator Lee is NOT demanding ransoms to achieve equality for all people that @SenatorDurbin demands.

People seeking additional ransoms for equality are the problem and will continue to be treated as such.

Finally, the issue of protecting the privileged position of people who seek inequality have already been resolved well in their favor.

Time to pass the bill now. The fact that they themselves & @SenatorDurbin would create a new issue to block equality will not be tolerated.

Is S386 enough to make US immigration fair? Far from it. Would it improve the system and make things slightly less discriminatory? Definitely yes!

For the record, while I support @NIACouncil, I do not agree with them on S386. S386 reduces the discrimination against Indian immigrants, among others, and I’m all for reducing discrimination, even if it reduces my privilege or my community’s privilege.
