Booked a hotel on @makemytrip yesterday at 11 AM and the booking was confirmed. At 2:44 PM, while we were already on the way, MMT called saying the property was shut for maintenance and admitted it was their system issue. 1/n

No confirmation emails were sent
Alternate hotel booking wasn’t properly cancelled.
Support is now refusing refund saying the hotel isn’t giving waiver.

We were travelling with a pet, had to stop multiple times on the highway for support calls, 4/n
